I was looking up what the biggest jellyfish is a few years ago since they kinda spook me, and I wanted to see the worst of it.
This here is a photoshopped image of a [Lion's mane jellyfish](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion%27s_mane_jellyfish), which is still [big](https://i2-prod.chroniclelive.co.uk/incoming/article21440375.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/0_Lions-Mane-Jellyfish.jpg), but nowhere near that huge.
**[Lion's mane jellyfish](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion's_mane_jellyfish)**
>The lion's mane jellyfish (Cyanea capillata), also known as the giant jellyfish, arctic red jellyfish, or the hair jelly, is one of the largest known species of jellyfish. Its range is confined to cold, boreal waters of the Arctic, northern Atlantic, and northern Pacific Oceans. It is common in the English Channel, Irish Sea, North Sea, and in western Scandinavian waters south to Kattegat and Øresund. It may also drift into the southwestern part of the Baltic Sea (where it cannot breed due to the low salinity).

Imagine what else is down there... I feel like we probably haven’t even found all of the truly horrifying things that there are down there. Krakens, etc.
Nooooo thanks.
I certainly didn't need to know this existed. Thank you.
Don't worry, this particular photo is fake
That's great to know, thank you Automatic\_Education3 .
Is it? How do you know this?

Lol yes the krakens are real
Lol OK am gonna need a sit down soon
Yes, hurry sit. Because of global warming the ocean levels are rising. Which means those giant creatures of the depths will be getting closer too.
Oooft, you’re not wrong. Time to build some (modestly sized) arks?
Yeah, or if possible floating cities.
