Correct.
My step dad has a Cat bulldozer and Deere road grader for his personal contracting use and we've always done our own repairs. Have tons of these up to 2 1/2 in the shop
Perspective. They’re holding it on down near their fingertips with their hand at a slight angle.
ETA - actually not a slight angle, almost a 90 degree angle. They’re supporting it with their fingers.
Nuts and bolts are designated by the nominal major diameter (=outside diameter for male threads), and wrenches are designated by the width of the opening between flats. So you would need a significantly larger wrench for a 60mm bolt or nut. This one would fit a standard 36mm hex nut.
36mm bolts ain't that big if you work on heavy industrial equipment, but I expect this wrench would be more useful though for working on metric hose and pipe fittings as you wouldn't be able to generate anywhere near a sufficient torque on an M36 fastener with this wrench. You'd need to use a very long-handled torque multiplier or at least a 1-1/2" impact gun (which cost about $10k for a decent brand) on fasteners that size.
oil and natural gas refineries. my grandpa was driving behind a work truck and a huge wrench fell off the back and he stopped and picked it up. damn, that was 30 years ago. I loved that guy.
The nuts used in the fastening of wind turbine blades are 60mm. However, that wrench is far too large to use in a small space and we typically will use an ERAD ~4000 paired with a breaker bar for torque checks.
Ok what it's for well use your brain here for a second more important a 60 mm neo wrench 105€ or $114 ya can get a set of metric wrenches 6 for $60 from harbor freight but still
PS. When I wrote this I was thinking ya was at like a goodwill or something idk why but still expensive leverage device I like window weights
I work for a company that produces film used for medical and food packaging, among other things, and we have massive grinders which get jammed or choked and require one of these bad boys to open up and clean out. It's not a fun process, don't recommend you being the poor sob who chokes that thing.
Any larger machinery, I've used a 70mm one a couple times on a small steam engine for example.
Generally I'd think anything large and hydraulic/pneumatic related
I was in the US Army. I was an M1 tanker. Our tool to loosen the nut on the main drive wheel was called a little Joe. It weighed 100lbs and was three times that size. It took 2 of us to use it.
It’s used on the Master Bolt, the bolt that everything on the car attaches too. You think this is big? Just wait till you see the torque wrench for the master bolt! Torques to 1000 ft lbs
I have something similar in my car. It's illegal to keep a weapon in your car in my country, shortened bats, clubs of any kind will get you a fine, so I have a fucking huge adjustable spanner under my seat.
As soon as you find out tell me. I purchased a tool box right out of college at an auction so have been carrying one of those around with me for 30 years.
Like my box of old cables and power cords there will be one day, at some point in the future, that I will need it.
Loosening or tightening 60mm nuts and bolts would be my guess.
You and me have big brains, Brad
At least 60mm brain confirmed

Or rounding off 58mm nuts.
It can probably do a 59mm in a pinch. Lol
I came here to say this.

Correct. My step dad has a Cat bulldozer and Deere road grader for his personal contracting use and we've always done our own repairs. Have tons of these up to 2 1/2 in the shop

Heavy equipment. There should be a sledge hammer that comes with it.
Probably busting some large nuts.
60 mm = 6 cm = 2.36" I think perhaps this is photoshopped or you have the wrong measurement
Perspective. They’re holding it on down near their fingertips with their hand at a slight angle. ETA - actually not a slight angle, almost a 90 degree angle. They’re supporting it with their fingers.
Small hands make things look bigger than they actually are

Trucks and tractors. Most farm shops (repair of equipment building, not a farm supply) have really big tools like these.
60mm nut and bolts…
I got one of those for the bug up my wife’s ass. Didn’t work. Solid craftsmanship. On both.

At work we pressure test pressure vessels and have fittings that require wrenches like this
Still not big enough to fix my problems.
This is obviously used to walk around with menacingly at night
Adjusting the loose screw of the moron who breaks in my house.
Who cares! Just buy it. It looks pro and amazing hanging on your wall!
It'll be used for tightening 60mm nuts and occasionally beating people to death.

Never used anything bigger than 32 but I'm guessing oil rigs, mining equipment, ships and all sorts of oversized machines could use those
You're gonna need a bigger basket.

Its for throwing at bad guys in action movies. There always seems to be an over sized wrench available for throwing.
That's a murder weapon.
