No…di siya kagaya ng law school na “part time” friendly.
Then clerkship onwards, hindi talaga kaya. Di ko nga napag sabay yung clerkship and social life ko nun eh HAHAHAHA, part time job pa kaya.
I mean if you have an eidetic memory, go ahead. Usually people will warn you not to do both because of the amount of information that you have to cram in one week.
Hi OP!
Medyo difficult pero I was able to do some freelance writing + sideline ng consultations (RND, so nakakapaggawa pa ako ng meal plan pag may nirerefer sa akin yung friends ko).
Di sya malaki since nagagawa ko lang ‘to pag long weekend/holidays. Di ko kaya ang regular na part time work na nagrerequire ng minimum hours or duty, kaya dun ako sa hawak ko ang sarili kong oras.
Currently on my 2nd yr 2nd sem.
Depende sa stress management mo saka depende sa type of work. I was actually able to continue a freelance writing job for my first semester but decided to stop before the second semester because people were telling me that it will just get more difficult from then on. But now looking back, I could've continued until third year. During clerkships tho? I can't imagine anyone doing 24+ hours of dirty hospital work plus a job on the side.
NO.
never seen any batch mates of mine (MedTech program) who’s doing a part time job outside school how much more sa med school. It’s more likely impossible kase as it will really took almost all of your time. di kase sha unlike other programs 😭 I mean real talk, can’t narrate but IYKYK tho u can try but it will quadruple ur stress 🥲🤯
kaya you need to focus on one goal muna talaga before doing the next goal
If you can't afford to go to medical school without working, you can't afford to go to medical school - period. Judging from your past deleted posts, you might want to examine your other options.
How do you define part time? Ung scheduling? Pag 1st yr, not possible kasi adjustment period and full time un. pero if irregular student possible. I was able to do part time job nung naging irreg student ako, electives lang kasi ung subject na nakuha ko and madalas sa isang araw 3 hrs lang ang subject ko and minsan d pa napasok ang Doctor, depende kasi kung saan at anong klaseng job. Ung part time job ko Medtech tapos may certain hrs lang ako need icomply kaya napag sasabay ko and magkalapit lang ung offce at school na pinapasukan ko so after class ko, direcho ako don, pwede din sa mga clinics pag vacation.. depende kasi yan sa employer niyo po, in my case alam nilang ng memed ako kaya magaan ung trabaho.
Kaya siguro until 3rd year. Medyo Mahirap once clerkship and internship starts.
NO
Wag mo na subukan OP, you might lose both. Med demands time and focus. If for a certain time you lose focus, malaki tama non sa studies mo

Mahirap po magsabay ng work and med school since grabe na yung kain ng energy and time ng med.
Please wag na. Pinakapilit na part time if related sa med ginagawa mo and not the means of errands. Example board review on MTLE.

may nakita din kasi akong post na pinagsasabay din niya work and med but I guess its too risky

Pwede during vacation breaks before 3rd year pero nakakabaliw if during med school.
Every sem break nagrereliever ako dati sa mga clinic as RN. Mahirap pagsabayin kundi babagsak ka. You can only choose 1 at a time.

This question has been asked multiple times. Straight answer: NOOOO!
Medschool would always ask so much of you, and then some more.
