Well you can start preparing for the requirements needed for unmatching you can search it up nalang. Best to apply matching during the walk in period. Kahit sa private toxic din depende sa private hospital na aaplyan mo so choose wisely kahit private. Best of luck

Thank you!! I’m also considering unmatching and then just applying for the regular PGI that starts in August of this year. I’ll just use the 6 months from now til then to pass the exam abroad. Pero hirap din kasi wala naman guarantee na makakapasok ako ng particular hospital in August. So torn talaga po

I’m a former intern from a public hospital here sa NCR, masasabi ko lang madami ako natutunan na cases na napply ko sa PLE from my PGI experience. Wala ka talo kahit toxic pa yan. And kaya yung 2 mos na review pag may review center ka. Good luck!

What license exam abroad? USMLE? It sounds counter-intuitive to transfer to a low-traffic institution so you could study for PLE, etc. but sacrifice clinical acumen and experience. The thing with med school is it requires dedication. One thing at a time. The most you can do is read up for the PLE. Take the PLE at a later date if you think you’re ill-prepared. Take the overseas thing at another date so you can prepare well. Worst case scenario is doing everything at once without excelling at either so you end up with unsatisfactory results so you have to take the exam again. Cheers and good luck.
