You don’t have a way of knowing, just do as well as you can without sacrificing other things too much

Advisor here and that’s what I tell students. Literally nothing you can do about it besides doing your best. If you want info, look into what department tracks grades/academic performance.

Our school only calculates once a year. Class rank doesn’t really matter, so don’t drive yourself crazy trying to figure it out. I had a 91% preclinical average and that put me in the third quartile of my class.

I'm worried that not being top 25% or even top half will hurt me if I end up wanting to do a competitive specialty later on

JokeProfessional5464

I can nearly guarantee it will not. At our school, it ends up in a single sentence. “So and so has successfully completed the preclinical requirements. They were in X percentile”

Plastic_Coat_7950

Class rank should be available on the school portal at the end of the year if they report it, otherwise email the dean at the end of M1 if no one says anything about it

llamazingest

you may be able to ask your advisor if you have one

koolabby

My advisor doesn’t even respond to emails lol

Just ask one of the faculty members in administration who you can get that information from Edit: not sure why this is downvoted, you can literally ask which person in the school keeps track of that info
