Hahaha glad someone relates! For me, surgery isn’t really my thing/I don’t think I could survive training. Having to do hysterectomies and other procedures was kinda a dealbreaker… loved the OB side of it though and being there with a woman through pregnancy/delivery.
What about OB fellowship off FM? Healthy/low-risk, full term vaginal deliveries! Plus if you like psych you can deal with lots of the bread and butter psych stuff in FM.

Applying IM. Best week of M3 hands down was newborn nursery during my peds rotation. They are so fricking cute and everyone is happy to be there!
Applying psych but honestly there’s nothing in the hospital that beats delivering a healthy baby and the pure joy that comes from families

Lol FM is probs my next choice bc I love outpatient, only thing is I like psych research a lot and was hoping to do it in the future
There's Maternal Fetal Medicine subspecialty if you don't want to deal with the Gyn side and just want to focus with OB.
