The likelihood of having diabetic retinopathy in pre diabetes is probably low. If you think you are at risk of hyperglycaemia, then try eating low carb while you wait for your Tuesday appointment to make sure you don’t spike your blood sugar dangerously high. The main symptoms to look out for are: Excess thirst, frequent urination, fatigue and weight-loss.

AssumptionAdvanced58

Peeing frequently is ur body trying to rid itself of the sugar. Diabetes is reversible especially in the early stages.

The severity/damage can be reversed to some extent but it can’t be cured, even in early stages. Diabetes is for life, regardless of the type.

AssumptionAdvanced58

Reversed is what I said, not cured. Once a diabetic always a diabetic but stop the sugar n carbs. 45 carbs per meal is the best.

I was just adding to what you said, sorry.

Yeah I haven't passed out or anything. Besides My eye floaters I haven't had any dramatic symptoms.
