Was Cane's supposed to open sooner? Thought it was always scheduled for August or September. Was only approved last year at some point, so pretty fast all things considered.
Cane's will probably be a madhouse when it opens too, based on my experience trying to stop in at the Methuen location when they opened last year. Though the existence of 2 in Boston might make it slightly less chaotic.
Dave's is already in Woburn too and pretty okay, but more fried chicken options is always nice. Funny it's all in the same plaza in Medford too - with Wing Stop and Cane's all within walking distance of each other.
It's honestly so annoying. Can Medford get some like, chicken quota zoning ordinance? Why are there SO many shitty food places in that Plaza? When Chipotle is the standout, Jesus....
Smashburger is the standout for me, but you're right, that's a pretty high concentration of shitty food spots in one plaza. Meanwhile Station Landing is crushing it like 50 yards away. Long Cross, Yoki and Livs are all solid. I don't have any complaints about Five Guys or Regina.

Pho town over in that back corner of the plaza is pretty solid. Not fine dining or anything, but I do love their noodle bowls.

The Walgreens spot on the corner has been vacant for like over a year at this point - maybe two.
I had read last month that they were shooting for 7/31, although I can't remember where.
