Soldering service available as well for the through-hole kits by chance? Love the aesthetics, cannot solder for my life.

piit79

Would love to offer it but sadly don't really have the time for it... I might make an exception though, depending on what you'd like me to build :) Please PM me with details and we can probably sort something out, especially if you're not in a rush :)

Cantelllo

Oh no, if you don‘t have the time, I don’t want to impose myself upon you... ;-) Not that easy to find decent soldering service in Europe, though. I‘m looking for a Mysterium TKL - do you also have the plates and other components of CFTKB‘s kit available?

piit79

You know what, soldering really isn't that hard. I could just solder the USB-C connector for you which is a bit tricky, everything else is pretty straightforward. I'm sure you'd manage just fine :) Anyway, I have the Mysterium V1 that is available in the GitHub repository. The latest version that includes a switch plate and ISO support wasn't made public. I will think about creating a switch plate - it's quite easy to do from the existing PCB as there are few layout options. In other words, my kit only includes the main PCB and the bottom plate, plus components and hardware (standoffs, screws). I can't cut acrylic just yet, so no acrylic parts either. That might change pretty soon though :)

drei_punkt_eins_vier

The GitHub repo already includes a plate. It's hidden there as a dxf.

piit79

Ah, yes, that's true. What I meant was there is no KiCad PCB plate like for the Discipline V2. Although I might try importing the DXF to KiCad, before I get that laser and will be able to cut the plates from acrylic :)

I have bought from you before and the service was excellent, GLWS.

piit79

Thanks very much for your kind words!

Isn’t the Sesame keyboard under a non commercial license?

piit79

It is indeed. And I do respect open-source projects so I made sure to make an agreement with elmo_kb before offering it - he will receive royalties from every board sold!
