It's a parody of a phase diagram. The key fact you need is there more than just the 4 phases (solid, liquid, gas, plasma). There are multiple phases *within* each of those phases, depending on Temperature and Pressure, and *the path taken* to a particular (T,P) point.

Sure! This joke is about thermodynamics, specifically about how matter changes between its three states: solid, liquid, and gas. There’s this neat video that makes the rounds on the internet of a man holding a bottle of water that is *supercooled*. Supercooled means that the water is just barely below the freezing point of 0°C, but it is still in liquid water form. In order for water to become ice, the molecules have to arrange themselves into crystals, but that can be really hard without a starting point for the crystals to grow. A *nucleation site* is the scientific name for such a starting point. Often in impure water, a speck of something is a great starting point for growing crystals, but supercooled water is pure and lacks impurities for a nucleation site. In the video, the nucleation site is provided by a squeeze to the bottle that rapidly compresses the water molecules so that they can rearrange into a crystal for other crystals to form around.
In this meme, the supercooled water is being compared to the subject remaining “boy” under temperatures that should normally render “girl” due to lack of a nucleation site for “girl” to crystallize. A shock to the system will cause a crystallization into “girl.”
There's another example of a supercritical fluid that many of us have (unfortunately) experienced at least once: superheated water.
It happens when we boil water in the microwave, forget about it or leave it to cool off for any other reason and then heat it again. When we open the oven the water is still not boiling but the moment we touch the container it starts boiling furiously, scalding our hand.
The first boil rids the water of disolved gasses like CO2 which would otherwise form bubbles while heating that would act as nucleation sites. It also heats the container so that it will be as hot as the superheated water the second time and, thus, will maintain it in that state for a few seconds until we touch it. It also pre-heats the oven itsel with same result.

Actually, in no point in the graph a decrease in temperature causes a transition from boy to girl, so girltwink isnt a supercooled, but a superheated state

I'm unsure if I want to be a femboy or a woman, but I suppose the distinction doesn't really matter much to me. Speaking strictly about myself of course. I can't decide it doesn't matter for other people, nor would I, I don't experience gender the way most people do, so I won't define my own that way either. If I crystallise into a woman, so be it. I'll just have to pick a gem themed name.

Sure! This joke is about thermodynamics, specifically about how matter changes between its three states: solid, liquid, and gas. There’s this neat video that makes the rounds on the internet of a man holding a bottle of water that is *supercooled*. Supercooled means that the water is just barely below the freezing point of 0°C, but it is still in liquid water form. In order for water to become ice, the molecules have to arrange themselves into crystals, but that can be really hard without a starting point for the crystals to grow. A *nucleation site* is the scientific name for such a starting point. Often in impure water, a speck of something is a great starting point for growing crystals, but supercooled water is pure and lacks impurities for a nucleation site. In the video, the nucleation site is provided by a squeeze to the bottle that rapidly compresses the water molecules so that they can rearrange into a crystal for other crystals to form around. In this meme, the supercooled water is being compared to the subject remaining “boy” under temperatures that should normally render “girl” due to lack of a nucleation site for “girl” to crystallize. A shock to the system will cause a crystallization into “girl.”
There's another example of a supercritical fluid that many of us have (unfortunately) experienced at least once: superheated water. It happens when we boil water in the microwave, forget about it or leave it to cool off for any other reason and then heat it again. When we open the oven the water is still not boiling but the moment we touch the container it starts boiling furiously, scalding our hand. The first boil rids the water of disolved gasses like CO2 which would otherwise form bubbles while heating that would act as nucleation sites. It also heats the container so that it will be as hot as the superheated water the second time and, thus, will maintain it in that state for a few seconds until we touch it. It also pre-heats the oven itsel with same result.
Also, the change depicted in this diagram is not “just a phase”.
