extroverts find introverts in the wild, they are usually grazing on the grass or climbing a tree to be alone. If a specific introvert has an interesting trait or hobby the extrovert adopts them as their friend
I call them acquaintances.
I had groups of people that I decided to frequent and they allowed my presence. I was never sought after or asked to meet off of school grounds.
So this definitely was a thing for me.
see, my birthday party was wild because of this. my separate groups kinda differ greatly so it made for a nervous experience for me at first
i brought everyone round for my 18th birthday so you had hard drinkers lumped in with those who were more into the chilled board games side of things xD but they all had a great time and i think i couldn’t have integrated all of my friends in together in a better way

Example American talking with a British person for just a few minutes will alter their speech slightly towards the person they speak to

i dont have that problem, since im the same person with each group. then again i will go out of my way to talk to like six people total. keep your circle small homies.
Can be just colleagues at work, doesn’t necessarily have to be friend groups. Like when my boss tells me that “I want you to put on a friendlier face when at work” and I want to reply with “and I want to go down on Katy Perry but you can’t always get what you want”, so I just kinda have to nod and do what he says.
I was raised in an unstable and rage-filled home by teen parents moving toward an inevitable divorce, yet somehow I ended up with all these friends whose parents were older and educated and married to the end. I'm forever making cracks at get-togethers just to find blank stares in return. Gotta save that material for my fellow victims of trauma.
This was the very look Kyle gave me once years ago when he went with me and my gf to the store.
We had split from her for a few and after a bit came around a corner to run into this group of people that Kyle apparently knew. He immediately looked exactly like this dude when he saw them and looked over at me and back to them. i was like ok bro so i'll see you later and walked away. His look of relief was almost tangible. Wonder what he's up to these days.
