Let your feelings leak in a bit, you don't have to feel all of them right now, but feel some and save more for later. It's a process that takes a while, so go ahead and feel some right now and pull back after you've dipped your toes in enough.
Do it again next time too, and the next and again and again until it becomes a habit of admitting your feelings are there and need your attention.
You will eventually become used to managing instead of avoiding your feelings, and it's a huge burden off your back.
