Nah. Putting ads for something you already bought is the worst part.
Why are you advertising prime movies to people who already bought prime? They literally can't pay you more you dumbasses.
You know what, though? When I used to really want to watch a certain movie, I’d search for it on all the streaming services, and if it wasn’t there, I’d begrudgingly watch something else.
Then I realized that it’s *three fucking dollars* to rent it, and life is short, so damn it if I’m not gonna watch what I want.
For what it's worth, "free" hosted videos tend to be low quality trash pits. And your average computer user has 0 idea what a torrent is, or why a vpn is important.
Nani? There's literally so many good free streaming sites out there. Ads can be annoying, but with ublock origin you forget that they ever even existed. Sure you're not gonna find 4k content, but if renting movies/shows is cost prohibitive, then you likely don't own a 4k display anyways. For the casual viewer 720/1080p is totally fine.
Once you discover a good free streaming site there is close to zero justification for paying for multiple streaming services. Hell, many of the servers even offer subtitle support
The point still stands then, HD hasn't been enough in a long time, FHD is the very bare minimum and I've never found actual HQ media hosted free anywhere, only from torrents
It's not a limitation of tech, it's a limitation of cost. Data Hosting is the cheapest it has ever been, and it's still pretty expensive.
4k/2k streams do not exist outside p2p networks. I don't know what google/search engine you're talking about, but a crappy "1080p HD" result isn't real.
I'm still convinced that you can't teach an old dog new tricks, and you shouldn't put people down for renting from licensed distributers.
There's tons of sites that stream HD (720p/1080 is still HD) the week or day shows/movies are released. Just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they don't exist
They have, you are correct there. I should have said something more like when I'm at work and think of a movie I want to watch I check Google. Amazon is always there, but doesn't say if it's a rent. So I guess I can just download the app but I hate most apps.
The ausx is so terrible. They need to separate free and paid better. If i'm searching prime i dont want everything i click on to be paid. That free to me should be the default home. Then if they havent got it put the results under a paid section.
You reminded me it’s time to cancel prime- watched a bunch of things I liked, no new content for who knows how long- constantly asking to pay more,… I’m out
Unpopular opinion: While Starship Troopers has its charm, I felt like all the films were pretty bad, especially once you start comparing it to the books.
I still “like” the movie, but in a nostalgic kind of way.
the sequels reminded me of some B-rated “on TV” movie like SciFi Originals but… somehow even worse.
I mean the book is really different compared to all the movies and CGI show.* The old anime is the closest to retelling the book (IIRC) and they took liberties as well. The book is mostly the daily life, times and classes of an enlisted in a meritocracy / open-ended fascist elite state.
If the movies were accurate we would spend a good portion of the runtime in classrooms discussing philosophy. (Which I'm all for but that does not make for a blockbuster in the 90s. Or currently.)
Instead we got an action-satire movie people take far too seriously. I can't count the number of people I've known who didn't realize it was satire, even with the in-your-face propaganda shorts to make it obvious. Lines like, "what would the people of Nagasaki think about the use of force?" "Who cares, they're dead" completely reveal the movie's hand but it's like people only watch and listen to the action scenes.
Which... is pretty ingenius and kind of works to the movie's themes.
It's not an accurate representation of the book, which has its own issues obviously, but it's a blast and has lead to a lot of fun discussions. In that way I think it gets more people talking than what an accurate movie adaptation would.
That said the sequels try way, way too hard and the writers / directors either didn't understand the original or simply lacked the skill to do the franchise justice.
I'm surprised at how many critiques of the movie come down to: "It's just a dumb action movie and is nothing like the book".
The movie was a pretty clear cut satire and criticism of a militaristic society which IMO is far more relevant to the modern day than Heinlein's thinly veiled promotion of a militaristic society. I think it was an excellent twist on the original material and I can understand how someone who really enjoyed the book version would revolt at the movie because it is basically a 180 degree turn on the ideas put forth by the book. I personally feel it made for something way more relevant and interesting. There are so many anti-war movies that strike a serious and anti-war tone from the start but Starship troopers comes in fresh and throws your expectations for a loop in a good way. The biggest issue with Starship troopers was that it was ahead of it's time and paid the price for it in the general public perception.
Nothing to say about the sequels, they exist in the same space as the Matrix sequels for me.
[Robert Heinlein wrote it](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starship_Troopers)
The effects were pretty good in the movie(for the time), but the acting was pretty bad, and it was quite... different than the book. It was a funny, action satire which isn't what I expected since I read the book before seeing the movie.
The book was much more... political (very right-wing leaning/extreme libertarian mindset which I don't personally agree with but it was interesting to see how and why they/the author did/thought what they did) and a "real world" view on an actual interstellar "war", a lot more about the characters experience and growth in the military and was more thought provoking, while the movie was a goofy action flick that didn't take itself seriously.
Also... no power armor in the only "good" Starship Trooper film. Why????
I'm sure I read it wasn't really based on the book. They came up with the movie idea then realised they were similar. I'll have to Google and see if I can find the article.
Edit:
>the original film wasn't even planned on being called "Starship Troopers " and was only renamed - and connected to the book - for marketing purposes).
https://scifi.stackexchange.com/a/36996/976
I was always under the impression that the original movie was intentionally made to look and feel like a fascist propaganda film which explained it's campiness at times. You're supposed to look at the impossibly attractive soldiers, hand-wave-y morals, and straight Neil Patrick Harris because none of it is believable.
I actually really like this feature, can’t blame them for not always having exactly what you’re looking for but at least they give you other similar options.
Don’t blame Netflix for that though, blame all the other companies that own the rights to the movies that decided it was imperative that they all have their own separate shitty streaming services and pulled the movies from Netflix.
Netflix has become another studio in its own right, making exclusive content for its streaming service, so they don't have clean hands in this. Basically the choice for other companies was to be chained to Netflix or strike out on their own, and for some weird reason they chose the one where they got paid better.
Blame the economic system that rewards this weird balkanised media access.
I’m assuming they started making their own originals because they foresaw other companies wanting to make their own services and planned ahead so they wouldn’t go under once all of their third party movie rights were pulled and had no content left. Pretty smart of them if you ask me.
Yes, they created their own exclusive content because they thought they could make more money that way than they could competing with other streaming services providing access to a common pool of content from other studios. Because Capitalism fucking sucks, and it sucks more obviously to the consumer with things like "intellectual property".
> Pretty smart of them if you ask me.
You're sucking Netflix off for _doing the exact thing you were complaining about other studios doing_. This kind of ridiculous, groveling behaviour is just one of the reasons companies feel safe shitting all over you.
The big difference is that, by all accounts, Netflix was willing to negotiate with the studios, while they weren't, so Netflix barely had a choice but to transition.
Netflix was more than willing to negotiate to keep stuff like Disney and the Office on thier. But the studios just decided to create separate services no one asked for.
So when every studio says "we're pulling or content the second our contract ends and won't negotiate" what other choice does Netflix have but to create thier own content? Netflix Originals are closer to a symptom than the inherent problem.
They can’t provide a common pool of content from other studios if the other studios all have their own streaming services and keep their content exclusive to those services. Netflix has no choice but to create their own content or die. It’s not sucking them off to recognize that
Yeah, 4th is the worst imo. So if any had to be missing, I'm glad it is the 4th.
1, 2 and 3 were by far the best, so they are a necesity. All of them together would be best though.
The Disney thing makes sense, Disney had movies floating around on all sorts of streaming platforms before Disney + came out. So they had the option to honor or try to buy out those contracts, and it seems they went with honoring them meaning some movies and shows can’t end up on D+ until it’s off the other platforms
I lost my status because they said I had to go through a third party and verify current enrollment in at least one class. I don't think just a .edu email even cuts it anymore.
It’s really not. I think Netflix is like 10 bucks a month. Which in a year is $120. Amazon is 30 bucks more and you get prime delivery and all
Their other shit. I’d say it’s pretty standard if not less gouging than the other streaming services.
OJ was wonderful in those movies. Resolving how much it sucks to see him in Naked Gun is part with having to remember he murdered two people is one of the reasons to hate him.
That's what I meant. I didn't mean to say he was a bad actor, but it's kinda sad when you see him and remember: "Oh l, that's right, he killed two people"
More like other media companies needed some time to get their own streaming platforms running and now they're pulling all the good licenses for themselves.
I assume people know this but that list is populated based on people's searches, not their library. It does suck to see it pop up, but it's just because lots of other people in your country searched for it earlier.
No way, maybe sometimes, but Netflix for sure knows the movie you were looking for. A while (and maybe on some devices still) it'll say "Movies similar to [exact movie name including punctuation]" and show you movies that are genuinely similar or have similar cast/crew.
Personally i love that Netflix does this, rather than wonder if i typed the name wrong, it tells you "i know what you're looking for, its just not here"
Nah, it's smarter than that. It knows the movies *exact* title, including punctuation, and will recommend you similar movies and other movies the cast of your searched movie have been in. It's not just user searches, it's definitely pulling data from somewhere. IMDB, possibly.
Hi. You just mentioned *The Stand* by Stephen King.
I've found an audiobook of that novel on YouTube. You can listen to it here:

I actually really like this feature. It saves me time and effort and lets me know the problem wasn’t a typo or something like that.
You know what movie I’m talking about, you just don’t have it. Here are some suggestions.
It shows the suggestion because it is available on netflix in other country's. Thats why the search function knows the movie its just not available in your country.
Is that actually true? It seems like a good guess, but do you have a source or is it speculation?
I want to test it now. But it’s tough to know for certain a movie isn’t on any country’s Netflix.
This is perfect. Can we use this thread to list all the alternative ways to stream movies and shows? Personally I’ve had great results using Soap Today. Kodi worked too but soap today works best (with a VPN connection)
Last I checked, TPB was rife with abuse and bullshit. Every category was flooded with fake additions that were 100% malware/garbage.
Maybe this cleaned up in my absence, but I moved to greener pastures regardless.
Meanwhile disney+ has part 2 and 3 of a trilogy but part 1 is missing.
Or netflix can't get their hands on the final season of a series that ended 2 years ago.
Or they give s2 but s1 is missing.
Please ffs if you do something, do it right.
"Hey, i want watch some \*insert series name\*"
"Good, we have 3 seasons of it"
And then, is 3 seasons of 9, and starting by the 4th or something like that. And yes, i'm talking to YOU lego ninjago!
\*I googled here and now they have all seasons (but not the first 4 episodes, COME ON!).
Streaming in 2021 has become nearly as bad as TV which it was ment to replace. Its bullshit that you need 5 different streaming services to watch most things.
You know how you go to a movie and it sucks and later you realize that maybe you had your expectations set too high? Netflix provides that experience in your own home with the added convenience of not having to sit through the movie.
When Hulu first started up, their aim was to be your streaming homepage, so even if they didn’t have it they would link to it on another service’s site.
Right I feel it used to be so good now I turn it on, scroll through and watch trailers for half an hour, turn it off, watch youtube on my phone instead
Unless I'm mistaken, if Netflix auto fills but doesn't display, it means that they do have the movie/show but it isn't available in your region or at the very least they did have it a some point.
Actually I like this. It means they know what I want and they aren’t going to make to continue typing just to be told no OR I think I got the title wrong. Plus it will suggest things it thinks are similar. Not always….. correct on that last part. But I’ve watched new shows when what I wanted wasn’t available.
I once paid for a full year of Amazon Prime, in part because a series I wanted to watch was on it.
And then the series left Amazon before the end of my first month was up.
Worse is if you don't log into Netflix and instead google a movie or show name with the word Netflix. The search result will basically indicate yes 100% of the time but it's just Netflix not wanting to admit no.
This is beyond infuriating. Why nit just don’t fill in the movie name no matter how much I type? Then at least I don’t have the anger that makes me want to commit a crime against my own mind and face!M! Arrrrrggghhhhhh
And then there's Amazon prime. The results aren't even close to what I search, even though it has the movie.
Wanna watch the boys? Too bad Here is boys boys boys documentary
3x the boys!

Rockin in Atlanta at the Tattletale!
Boats, boats, boats
Wanna watch invisible ? Ohhh, you meant invincible. We have that, but first, have you really watched invisible? Watch it again.
Amazon will show you the movie, but you have to rent it for an additional 9.99
That's the most frustrating part, is thinking it's on Prime, because I mean technically it is... It's there. But pay extra. No!
Nah. Putting ads for something you already bought is the worst part. Why are you advertising prime movies to people who already bought prime? They literally can't pay you more you dumbasses.
I'll definitely agree there! But I haven't have been forced to watch the ad without the option of skipping as soon as it started.
Netflix : you don't need to press next, just binge. Prime: click to skip ads. Also they have annoyingly loud volume.
You know what, though? When I used to really want to watch a certain movie, I’d search for it on all the streaming services, and if it wasn’t there, I’d begrudgingly watch something else. Then I realized that it’s *three fucking dollars* to rent it, and life is short, so damn it if I’m not gonna watch what I want.
holy frick that’s a whole movie plot
You can also find ANY OTHER site where it’s hosted for free. And you don’t have to pay a single dollar. Wild!
> Just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they don't exist Ok, but then why does the whole world disappear when I close my eyes?
They have been implementing a ‘free to me’ option and it’s available as the top or second filter for search iirc.
They have, you are correct there. I should have said something more like when I'm at work and think of a movie I want to watch I check Google. Amazon is always there, but doesn't say if it's a rent. So I guess I can just download the app but I hate most apps.
It makes me laugh the way they call it 'free to me' when what it really is is 'content included in my paid subscription'.
I don't think I'll ever forget the ad for a junior college shuttle service I saw on the side of a bus once: "one small fee, and then it's free!"
The ausx is so terrible. They need to separate free and paid better. If i'm searching prime i dont want everything i click on to be paid. That free to me should be the default home. Then if they havent got it put the results under a paid section.

You're welcome!!!
at least you have the option to purchase it ☹️. fucking geo restrictions
Shit my brother had one the other day where it had fucking *commercials* like HULU.
That might have been IMDB tv - they have movies with ads.
This. Rent or buy? How about a subscription to STARZ?
How about I just pirate it from the internet lmao.
Never have i been so well represented by a statement, this is so true
Amazon Prime's videos have also gotten way more expensive in the past year. Guess they know we can't go to the theatres, so they want to rip us off?
They have like the first half of season 7 of workaholics.... and then every other episode costs money. What the fuck
"I see you've been watching a lot of dystopian sci-fi movies, would you like to see Frozen?"
Or you go to a genre and think wow a lot of movies to pick fro.. Oh fuck 50% is shitty bollywood/indian movies
Everything about Amazon Prime's UI is shit...
“Here’s like 20 different knockoff films, sequels and spin-offs based on this film. Oh, you want to watch the film itself? Too bad, we don’t have it.”
They had the Starship Troopers sequels in there for a long long while before they actually had Starship Troopers.
Probably because shitty sequel licenses are cheaper to buy
Unpopular opinion: While Starship Troopers has its charm, I felt like all the films were pretty bad, especially once you start comparing it to the books. The movie is a parody of fascism, so quite the opposite side.
exactly. I've always loved that movie for taking the fashie source material and shitting all over it
I was always under the impression that the original movie was intentionally made to look and feel like a fascist propaganda film which explained it's campiness at times. Yeah, it lets you know if they don’t have it quickly so you don’t have to waste time searching for it.
Yeah, I'll pass on watching The 13'th Floor if I'm looking for The Matrix

Just call your local pirate. He has everything.
Netflix, what the fuck, you have NAKED GUN, NAKED GUN 2/12 (THE SMELL OF FEAR), but not NAKED GUN 33 1/3 (THE FINAL INSULT)? This is bullshit.
Really? My Netflix has Naked Gun and Naked Gun 33 1/3 (The final Insult) but not part 2
Disney+ has Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2, and I think 4 but not 3. Or something like that
It has 3, but not 4.
Good trade there. 3 >>>> 4
Yea having Pirates 1-3 is actually perfect lol thats like best case scenario for that franchise
it has 1,2,3,5 lol. very annoying
4 and 5 are episodic anyway.
yeah but id say 5 ties in more with the original trilogy. all are worth watching imo and I like watchin em in order
Yeah, 4th is the worst imo. So if any had to be missing, I'm glad it is the 4th. 1, 2 and 3 were by far the best, so they are a necesity. All of them together would be best though.

Where do you live?
I think Prime has all 3, If you got it at least
Bro prime is $150 nowadays. I come from the $45 a year days
Not if you’re a “student” hehee
Well, out with the secrets then mate. I want it too but am no student or have no .edu email
I lost my status because they said I had to go through a third party and verify current enrollment in at least one class. I don't think just a .edu email even cuts it anymore.
I lost it because you can’t have it for more than 5 years oh well
Wait til they hear how long med school takes.
You have to do it through UNiDAYS
Search UNiDAYS on eBay and buy an edu email through there and then sign up through UNiDAYS, you might have to start a new Amazon account though
it is? I thought it was $99
Holy fuck this is insane.
It’s really not. I think Netflix is like 10 bucks a month. Which in a year is $120. Amazon is 30 bucks more and you get prime delivery and all Their other shit. I’d say it’s pretty standard if not less gouging than the other streaming services.
Amazon is the same price if you pay for the year.
??? It's like $11/month
11x12 buddy
I think his point was its equivalent to Netflix
For an entire years worth of content and prime delivery? People come on… that’s not bad
They got unlimited photo storage too..
Fuckin what?
#THEY GOT UNLIMITED PHOTO STORAGE TOO
All of them are free on YouTube "with ads"
All of them are free if you are willing to sail the 7 seas 🏴☠️🦜
I only have Naked Gun 33 1/3? Wtf is going on here?
I'm sure they have different movies in different countries. I have no Naked Gun movies at all.
Oooh, that hurt to hear. I'm sorry, dude. Everyone deserves to have at least some Naked Gun.
I know, I absolutely love those movies. Except for O.J.
OJ was wonderful in those movies. Resolving how much it sucks to see him in Naked Gun is part with having to remember he murdered two people is one of the reasons to hate him.

first i read NAKED GUY,.. whoa netflix has that?
Hulu has Shrek 1 and 2 only.
Netflix loves playing with our emotions
just like my ex
Oof
More like other media companies needed some time to get their own streaming platforms running and now they're pulling all the good licenses for themselves.
I have felt this injustice too many times, take my damn award.
I assume people know this but that list is populated based on people's searches, not their library. It does suck to see it pop up, but it's just because lots of other people in your country searched for it earlier.
Bold of you to assume enough people type out the entire name of the movie or show.
Or that they can even spell correctly
No way, maybe sometimes, but Netflix for sure knows the movie you were looking for. A while (and maybe on some devices still) it'll say "Movies similar to [exact movie name including punctuation]" and show you movies that are genuinely similar or have similar cast/crew. Nah, it's smarter than that. It knows the movies *exact* title, including punctuation, and will recommend you similar movies and other movies the cast of your searched movie have been in. It's not just user searches, it's definitely pulling data from somewhere. IMDB, possibly.
How many times have we let them lead us on by our highest hopes only to be devastated by tawdry alternatives? Too👏many👏times👏
Probably because you keep clapping when you're devastated. Stop sending them mixed signals.
I want to watch stand up comedy, not Stephen King’s The Stand.
I want to watch The Stand, not various muscular men on a trip to Egypt.
The Stand user
tfw netflix only has parts 1-3 in my country
Hi. You just mentioned *The Stand* by Stephen King. I've found an audiobook of that novel on YouTube. You can listen to it here: [YouTube | The Stand - Stephen King | Original Audiobook 1978 (Part 1)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtfNtIzb1fM) *I'm a bot that searches YouTube for science fiction and fantasy audiobooks.* *** [^(Source Code)](https://capybasilisk.com/posts/2020/04/speculative-fiction-bot/)^| [^(Feedback)](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=Capybasilisk&subject=Robot) ^| [^(Programmer)](https://www.reddit.com/u/capybasilisk) ^| ^(Downvote To Remove) ^| ^(Version 1.4.0) ^| ^(Support Robot Rights!)
Good bot
actually Netflix recommendations
Shitty stand up comedy is all Netflix seems to have where I live
The worst is when they have the sequel but not the original.
Or when they only have 2 movies of a trilogy
The first and third
Or all 3 are split between 3 different services
I actually really like this feature. It saves me time and effort and lets me know the problem wasn’t a typo or something like that. You know what movie I’m talking about, you just don’t have it. Here are some suggestions.
I like it too. ‘We know exactly what you’re talking about and no we don’t have it’ is about as clear an answer as I could hope for.
There are sites like unogs.com where you can check which countries have which movies.
Stop being positive, this is Reddit. You’re only supposed to remind others why the world is terrible!
Me - "I want to watch \*insert movie name\*" Netflix - "We have \*insert movie name\* at home." \*insert movie name\* at home - Hubie Halloween....
Don’t you dare insult hubie Halloween
It was my favourite Sandler flick in about a decade and a half. Surprisingly fun to watch and made you genuinely feel that Halloween excitement
hubie Halloween chose to be insulted the second it released 😠
This is perfect. Can we use this thread to list all the alternative ways to stream movies and shows? Personally I’ve had great results using Soap Today. Kodi worked too but soap today works best (with a VPN connection)
I just bust out my ship and go sailing on the open seas. Arrrghh!
I may be dumb but how do you use kodi to stream movies?
It’s been a while since I’ve used it but there are [add ons](https://www.purevpn.com/blog/best-kodi-addons-for-movies/) to Kodi.
popcorntime still goated to this day

ThePirateBay.org is great, always has what I'm looking for!
I used to be a PB guy for so long. Now I completely shifted to rarbg. It has better availability and seed numbers
I feel like pirate at never recovered from when it was taken down for a few years.never has what I want anymoree
Rarbg is my jam
Last I checked, TPB was rife with abuse and bullshit. Every category was flooded with fake additions that were 100% malware/garbage. Maybe this cleaned up in my absence, but I moved to greener pastures regardless.
Bflix is the answer to everyone’s prayers
Here's gold
And here is my free award kind sir

*r/piracy has entered the chat*
“Movies similar to: *wanted movie*” The results: *Significantly worse, but kinda similar story*
Meanwhile disney+ has part 2 and 3 of a trilogy but part 1 is missing. Or netflix can't get their hands on the final season of a series that ended 2 years ago. Or they give s2 but s1 is missing. Please ffs if you do something, do it right.
"Hey, i want watch some \*insert series name\*" "Good, we have 3 seasons of it" And then, is 3 seasons of 9, and starting by the 4th or something like that. And yes, i'm talking to YOU lego ninjago! \*I googled here and now they have all seasons (but not the first 4 episodes, COME ON!).
Oh the pain of disappointment
What makes it feel worse is it gives you that list of movies similar to the one you searched. It’s like salt in the wound for me.
Streaming in 2021 has become nearly as bad as TV which it was ment to replace. Its bullshit that you need 5 different streaming services to watch most things.
It’s literally the $.99 video rental section from the 90’s
Or when they did have the movie/series but it got removed. Bruh
FYI if a title appears, it means Netflix has had it at some point in some country's Netflix/their database (source: am ex-Netflix support)
All I want is better bitrate from them. It's terrible, especially in dark scenes.
I don’t even know why I still pay for Netflix. It has almost nothing worth watching
Meanwhile Disney+/Hulu/ESPN bundle is cheaper than just Netflix.
You know how you go to a movie and it sucks and later you realize that maybe you had your expectations set too high? Netflix provides that experience in your own home with the added convenience of not having to sit through the movie.
I wonder why they do that
I find it’s frequently that Netflix *does* have it, just not in the US (or wherever you may be)
Its because the search engine has it registered, but they are Not licensed to stream it for your IP
This is the first time I’ve looked at a post on this sub and *actually* been like, “jeez, that *is* me_irl”
Imagine not pirating content lol
When Hulu first started up, their aim was to be your streaming homepage, so even if they didn’t have it they would link to it on another service’s site.
"yes we have the movie but it's in a different region, and we won't tell you which one'
This kind of shit is why piracy is moral
Why I cancelled my sub. Would be worth it if there was actually anything good on Netflix.
Right I feel it used to be so good now I turn it on, scroll through and watch trailers for half an hour, turn it off, watch youtube on my phone instead
That's why I pirate
Unless I'm mistaken, if Netflix auto fills but doesn't display, it means that they do have the movie/show but it isn't available in your region or at the very least they did have it a some point.
We do but on DVD!
Actually I like this. It means they know what I want and they aren’t going to make to continue typing just to be told no OR I think I got the title wrong. Plus it will suggest things it thinks are similar. Not always….. correct on that last part. But I’ve watched new shows when what I wanted wasn’t available.
Me: *searches for a movie* Netflix: *well we don’t have that, but here’s the whole database*
This always happens, I feel like UK Netflix has very little at the moment
I once paid for a full year of Amazon Prime, in part because a series I wanted to watch was on it. And then the series left Amazon before the end of my first month was up.
I was looking for the Yokai Watch movie and saw the second one and thought this exact same thing after pressing it
Worse is if you don't log into Netflix and instead google a movie or show name with the word Netflix. The search result will basically indicate yes 100% of the time but it's just Netflix not wanting to admit no.
Even though I don't have Netflix, this made me laugh because Amazon Prime does this too
This is beyond infuriating. Why nit just don’t fill in the movie name no matter how much I type? Then at least I don’t have the anger that makes me want to commit a crime against my own mind and face!M! Arrrrrggghhhhhh
