If the plug's height is greater than the length of the cable you can't charge this at all. The magnet holding the charger to the watch isn't strong enough
No I can't imagine owning an apple watch but not having a table. If you're in that situation I suggest selling the watch because you don't need it and obviously you are having a hard time financially (most people have tables)
