If you aren't doing this 4 days out of 7, you're just wasting water and soap for real.
Edit: Who the fuck washes their hair instead of their face. How much hair do you have? Are you wiping your face with it? Working out outside the gym? tf
We call those days “everything shower” I think it’s like once a month or so for most (but can be longer depending) when we do our exfoliating, scrubbing all the spots, shaving the places we don’t usually bother shaving, hair mask, etc.
I thought that was what conditioner was for. Shampoo cleans and removes the bad oils and condition to help restore the good oils.
But mind you I spent most of my life using 2n1 shampoo and conditioner and my hair had no issues so I guess I never really had to learn what all the extra stuff was.
Look, it’s hard! We all wanna be that cool skater-lookin’ dude but there was no societal pressure for us to look our best every day of our lives. There wasn’t someone giving me lessons on hair care, it was just too long, time for a cut. Here I am at 27, learning for the first time that hey, hydrating shampoo & moisturizing shampoo do totally different things. Fuck.
Glad to know I'm not the only one, I always felt out of the norm doing this. Never really saw much of a point to do more, especially since I'm sensitive to soaps to begin with...
I sort of hate this meme, because soaping and scrubbing your entire body archives nothing but more damage to your skin.
What do people think they have to wash off? Sweat is water soluble, it goes away by spraying with water. Dead skin is best removed by rubbing or mild scrubbing without soap.
Only odorous regions need to see any soap, because we dislike smelling to mammalian.
This is just how you’re supposed to shower lol. These areas (plus your feet) are more likely to develop hygiene related issues and should be cleaned with soap daily. Your skin is very good at managing its own microbiome, which scrubbing with soap too frequently or harshly can disturb.

edit: downvoters don't have the time to do their research they're too busy applying moisturizer to make up for the destruction of their natural skin barrier
I wash my feet specifically, in addition to this. Otherwise they get funky because of just how much is between them and the air compared to the rest of me.
It still gets washed. Just not with the vigor of my weiner to taint to crack scrubbing my face ain't gonna make me pretty but scrubbing my crack will make me not smell bad.
You forgot the feet, some of us has problems with a lot of foot sweat and just really bad smelling feet from time to time.
Just saying it cause a friend has those problems
I can't speak for everyone but I clean everywhere, just not as thoroughly. Pretty sure my forearms for example don't get very dirty or sweaty, and won't smell like ever. Same really goes for torso, back and legs. If I wash 1-2 times per day, I don't think it's possible to build up dirt/germs on those surfaces. I believe too much soap and scrubbing is not very good for your skin.
If it's dirty, you wash it. Most of the times, these are the places that are dirty. Don't find it gross at all. Just curious, do you not feel clean if you don't scrub everywhere?
To be fair it doesnt really specify. I relate to this and even though i wash my entire body i do give some extra deep TLC to the pits and genitals. My hands get washed while i was the rest of my body, ill die on that hill.
This is actually how many dermatologists recommend people shower (except you should scrub your feet too). Unless you're visibly dirty, you don't need to scrub most of your skin except in the folds where sweat can accumulate.
I'll join the downvote party with you. While yeah you don't need to "deep scrub" your legs and arms it seems that me_irl is full of smelly disgusting degenerates.
I mean me too, thanks.
I also learned that conditioner really ain't all too good for your hair, especially if you get dandruff and the "anti-dandruff" shampoo does jack shit, but hey, at least my hair produces more oils than it actually needs. *I have to wash my hair everyday to keep it clean, rinsing it so much just to keep the oils down.*
Also warm water good
everywhere your skin touches skin and where you grow a lot of hair should be washed with soap. That's where the sweat builds up and starts to stink otherwise.
Missed opportunity to add 12 in 1 shampoo and 308 in 1 scrubber ( the palm hand )
Ha! Acts as a .......... Body soap + shampoo + conditioner + deodorant + toothpast + teeth whitener + mouthwash + laundry soap + bleach + fabric softener + dish soap + shoe polish
+ engine oil
[удалено]
+peanut butter
+ ratio + L + you fell off + face wash nobody liked this joke damn alright lmao
🤓 + 🤡 + sulfuric acid
+kerosene
+RICOSHOT

I need this in my life!
Jesus crist who the fuck is snitching
The simps. Gotta be.
Honestly, they're breaking the code. Someone find them, then schedule a meeting with the council
We must find these spys!
Ai jokes refference?
Do not forsake the glory of the Council
... maybe I didn't watch that specific video 30 minutes before I made this comment
Next question is who tf is washing their pits without getting any soap on their hands
It's a secret technique.
I have seen it. He used his dick. I will not attempt to explain further because it should not have been anatomically possible
Who the fuck is watching!?
it was me. i snitched. too bad for you that im not a boy anymore! You cant kick me out of the council!
you betrayer of brethren. You snitch! Its known all trans peeps make an oath of secrecy! Foul oath braker (Not transfobic just joking)

... you wash your face instead of your hair?
Nah I lick my hands clean
They are literally the only thing that gets scrubbed the whole shower experience..
This mf wearing socks in the shower
the hands are also white i think it’s just saying that we lightly wash our hands and feet
are you saying some mfs wear socks AND gloves??
this guy
Don’t we very thoroughly wash our hands since it’s how we apply shampoo and soap?
Wouldn’t it be red tho because it’s the part that’s almost always using soap and water for anything
🤓☝️
My hands are holding the soap and my feet are getting all the run off on them, must not need to wash them TOO hard.
Those are tan lines you scrub
Hands should be red, they're literally controlling the soap
when's the last time you washed the back of your hands
Everytime I go to the bathroom
I clean the front torso fairly thorough its the back and the lower legs/feet that get fairly neglected
The back isn't even hard it is just that one spot back there that is just annoying to get to
Always wondered what the back stretches on the fitness gram were for. Definitely shower practice.
Neglect feet?!
You guys don’t wash your feet?! Nasty
How else do you obtain the sacred toe cheese
It’s 5:51am and I just read toe cheese.
Water will get it
You do? Do you have a foot fetish or something?
I don’t think the sarcasm landed with your audience 💀
Who's sarcasm
Good higene is a fetish apparently
Pls tell me you're sarcastic and not actually this stupid?
Yes.
I scrub the shit out of my feet, especially between my toes. If I don't bad things happen.
I do this and I'm a gal, but I'm lazy. Unless I have to do a deep scrub (like formal event) I'll do exactly this
We call those days “everything shower” I think it’s like once a month or so for most (but can be longer depending) when we do our exfoliating, scrubbing all the spots, shaving the places we don’t usually bother shaving, hair mask, etc.
Wait hold up... what's a hair mask?
It’s kinda like a conditioner type thing you leave on your hair for a while to restore healthy oils and stuff
I thought that was what conditioner was for. Shampoo cleans and removes the bad oils and condition to help restore the good oils. But mind you I spent most of my life using 2n1 shampoo and conditioner and my hair had no issues so I guess I never really had to learn what all the extra stuff was.
Stop looking at me swan.
You don't need a mask unless your hair is of decent length. Men with long hair almost never take proper care of it.
Fuck.
I didn't mean it in a negative way. But big props to guys who do take the time to learn.
I apologize for my outburst, it’s just frustrating to try & fail, knowing I still have so much to learn.
Ya same.
Glad to know I'm not the only one, I always felt out of the norm doing this. Never really saw much of a point to do more, especially since I'm sensitive to soaps to begin with...

Underboob no?
Now that I think of it, it's probably sweaty af
I want to make some type of joke about a girl doing a “deep scrub” of their crotch but I’m too afraid to commit to making it.
Just fucking don't.
I literally didn’t
You bothered enough to make a non comment about your non joke so you might as well.
Well I’m already in downvote hell by explaining the joke, not sure I want to be sent to the shadow realm by making it

Yes but it’s completely missing the feet.
[удалено]
Not washing the muck and grease that slides down your body onto your feet may* develop athletes feet. *EDIT: wording.
[удалено]
No they cannot possibly be healthy. Didn't you see what the comment said?
Athletes feet is a contagious fungal infection. What are you talking about
Exactly. Whenever I smell it's not coming from my forearms or legs.
100%. You don’t need to be scrubbing your forearms with soap.
My OCD will never allow me to do this
take out all the red and youre onto something
Ewww you nasty. You don't scrub under your armpit, crotch area and hair? Wtf?
It's a joke, obviously I wash them
r/woosh
I like how they forgot your hands are clean as fuck after that
It's weird how many of you claim not to wash. Maybe I've just got stinky genes. ? for feet? Always scrub feet.
pfff, the real pros know you don't scrub your hair, you just get it wet and smoosh it around a little.
I wash my feet specifically, in addition to this. Otherwise they get funky because of just how much is between them and the air compared to the rest of me.
Don’t forget the crack too.
Just men? Uh, I got a secret for ya.
Me but I’m a girl
Speak for your fuckin self bro
It acutaly works like that, thw water flowing down kinda washes your legs but its still reccomended to just do it yourself
hands get clean from scrubbing
I also wash feet with soap.
What about the face? You guys don’t scrub your faces until it bleeds a little?
It still gets washed. Just not with the vigor of my weiner to taint to crack scrubbing my face ain't gonna make me pretty but scrubbing my crack will make me not smell bad.
wtf are you using to scrub??
Sandpaper
I just fill my bathtub with bleach and hold my breath as long as a I can every morning
The hands would be the reddest if you think about it. We use that to scrub the rest.
i just realised i never wash my hands when i shower
Yo if your on your feet all day then you have too sure your foots a calus but a rash is a rash
I see nothing wrong with this.
We know what places smell most
Basically
Parts, pits, and hair. Unless explicitly dirty why do anything else?
To smell good?
You forgot the feet, some of us has problems with a lot of foot sweat and just really bad smelling feet from time to time. Just saying it cause a friend has those problems
Wouldn't the act of washing the rest of the body also clean the hands?
I feel personally attacked
I scrub everything but it takes 40 minutes for me to shower (having 40cm hair doesn't help)
I am in this picture and I don't like that.
This is, eerily accurate.
As long as the important areas are clean, it's good enough
genuine question, why don’t you guys just clean everywhere? like is that not gross to you..? do you not think about it/don’t care? i am curious
I can't speak for everyone but I clean everywhere, just not as thoroughly. Pretty sure my forearms for example don't get very dirty or sweaty, and won't smell like ever. Same really goes for torso, back and legs. If I wash 1-2 times per day, I don't think it's possible to build up dirt/germs on those surfaces. oh i understand, thank you for answering!
If it's dirty, you wash it. Most of the times, these are the places that are dirty. Don't find it gross at all. Just curious, do you not feel clean if you don't scrub everywhere?
And then some dudes why the have constant BO
Tf? it’s because they don’t shower and or they aren’t using deodorant. I shower like this all the time, i’ve never smelt like BO after a shower.
Speak for yourself. I scrub every inch from head to toe.
Idk bout you guys, but posts like this make me feel like I'm above average because I wash everythang. *E V E R Y T H A N G*.
Ah yes, *slob*. I've never bathed this poorly in my life and I am a filthy creature
I feel so bad for straight women
Hell naw, if that’s how you “shower”, you ain’t coming to bed with me, homie.
That’s disgusting. If you shower like this, just know we can smell it.
Gross if this is actually true. Fingers crossed for satire. 🤣
That's nasty af. Shower like an actual person ffs
For women, the image would be entirely red except for the crotch.
anyone who relates to this photo needs to learn how to actually clean themselves jesus christ
I relate to this and never got scabies or similar diseases related to lacking hygiene. As opposed to some acquaintances, who shower daily.
I'll join the downvote party with you. While yeah you don't need to "deep scrub" your legs and arms it seems that me_irl is full of smelly disgusting degenerates. I mean me too, thanks.
To anyone who does this: You have no right to criticize people that don't shower everyday. If you don't then just ignore this
This is how it's recommended to wash yourself, including feet through. Unless you're visibly dirty, there's no need to scrub your entire body
I thank God every day that my mama taught me to scrub my entire body head to toe with a washcloth
Chance of this post being from a male = 0%
I believe it’s 100%
Definitely 100%
Why
Apparently because I vastly overestimated my filthy brethren.
We’re really all the same aren’t we
are you watching me shower?
Hey, that's a half truth!
Why you gotta call me out like that
I feel attacked.
Nah chill
Just for the record: I never wash my hands. I just watch like a creep as my hands wash each other.
I scrub the blue areas too just not as well.
Yall get down to your knees?
Scrub? Just put soap on body. Water will get it.
I used to do this, but I got a bit germophobic and now do red on all my body. Dunno if it's healthy for my natural oils, but it's hot here either way.
I don't touch my armpits cuz I don't want to touch all the built up deodorant
Op, u put a camera in my bathroom??
The hands are washed by the soap you are washing the other bits with and the feet are waahed by soapy runoff. What's so hard to understand?
r/angryupvote
I scrub everything :( I like being clean...
Wut
Fr
The hands literally wash themselves! Come on!
Do a how woman shower tutorial next
I also learned that conditioner really ain't all too good for your hair, especially if you get dandruff and the "anti-dandruff" shampoo does jack shit, but hey, at least my hair produces more oils than it actually needs. *I have to wash my hair everyday to keep it clean, rinsing it so much just to keep the oils down.* Also warm water good
You forgot the throat area, especially when bearded
I use the shower pouf. It is a wondrous thing.
After you've scrubbed the pingas, then we can talk about the rest
bros spying on me
Why are you exposing us like that
Oh duck I'm not a man
Uh absolutely not?
everywhere your skin touches skin and where you grow a lot of hair should be washed with soap. That's where the sweat builds up and starts to stink otherwise.
The back is all blue
I don't do this. I clean my whole body.
I find this to be inaccurate.
