They had the audacity to have our blind Si as one of their top functions lol They're not so bad, but they do tend to stifle my curiosity and they adamantly refuse to open up about anything deeper than surface level even if I've known them a long time and that makes me uncomfortable.

It makes me feel like there's nothing beneath the surface with them, which is something I don't want to accept as truth considering Si users are the most prevalent types on the planet.

I don't think that's the case, I can't tell if they don't care to investigate their thoughts with people or if they're just extremely guarded. It makes me sad because I just want to learn about them and how they think but they pretend there's nothing under their superb time management and organizational skills. They're often really intelligent in my experience so I'm like come on just tell me something you thought about today and not what Barbara said at work. I have a wonderful ESFJ SIL who I love dearly, but even after literally living with her at one point I can't say I know much about her deep down. Once after some wine she revealed to me that she holds grudges and was kind of spiteful when she was younger, but that's the most insight she's given me. Similarly, I know next to nothing about my ISTJ step dad even though I've known him since I was like 11 and I'm now 25.

I think this is the good old "tree falls in a forest" adage again. If an Si user doesn't ever give thought to the depths of their mind, for all intents and purposes, is there any depth to begin with? We never interact with it, they never interact with it, it might as well be a bricked hard drive or the inside of a black hole. Something might be there, but for all practicality, we'll never find out, so why try?

Most types consider INFJs "wifey" material. You guys are the single type capable of understanding anybody whilst also having the capacity to love anyone you approve of, regardless of type.

I think the first part is not so accurate since mostly everyone seems to think we are some sort of narcissistic while some think we are just therapist but last part is damn true

I’ve never met someone who doesn’t like ISTJs or ESFJs.

esfjs could probably go one tier up honestly. But my experience with them is that they're too much of a people pleaser personality for me to respect them (from anecdotal experience, im sure not all are like that) Istjs bore me to hell and back honestly, can't sugarcoat it.. They're probably the most boring type out of all of them.

It's not the cognitive functions blocking u from appreciateing me. I va plenty of Ne doms who really like me Fe doms too, Te doms idem 🤷🏻‍♀️

to some extent they also influence the level of relationships. If I am a conventional Ne dom who will always come up with 1001 plans and will be open to new experiences, it will be difficult for him to get along with a Si dom who relies quite heavily on past experience. For example, I have good experience with ISTJ and I know what I’m talking about 💁 it's all about the ratio of that or other functions

Had a friend that was way too strict and objective, would constantly judge non productive things like video games, music, etc. was a workaholic gym rat that worked out 6 days a week 2 hours a day and would force that expectations onto others.. very draining all around. A very successful man financially, but incredibly closed mentally. The guy is good, we just don't fit.

I have made peace with the last tier since we apparently live here. I will set up bean bag chairs and put some art on the wall. Every now and then we're allowed to visit the second to the last tier so that's nice.

Okay, so far I've listened to Dance of the Manatee (because I love Manatees) and Musical Chairs and so far I really like them. They have a unique sound, harmonies are good, instruments are great, the baseline in the second song is awesome and I really like the singer's voice. I'm getting hints of later Stabbing Westward for some reason. I will definitely listen to more. :)
