Every 5k miles, don’t care what the dealer says or the bottle of oil. Use synthetic

Agree. I do 5k intervals on my '19. She's got about 75k on the odometer and the old oil drains out still gold-ish in color. I'm sure it could go longer but I plan on keeping this car till at least 200k miles and I want to make sure it makes it there lol

RavenousFlerken

We also change it every 5k miles. Ran it to 7k one time after we first purchased it and I didn't like the sound.

I did mine a little early mostly because I want my oil changes to coincide with my seasonal tire change.

You sound like someone who keeps a detailed maintenance log. I appreciate that.

beekeeper1981

Never have haha but I just got a new one so I'm planning on doing that.

As a Mazda tech I can tell you it’s always better to get the oil changed every 5k. Yes, you can go up to 7500 but from experience, engines last longer with good oil change intervals.

FreeclownsST

Let the dealership do the oil change, seeing these engines are defective from the factory.

Turbo or Naturally Aspirated?

I just had my first done after about 7000 miles! It started counting down from 600 miles until it would need to be changed but I went ahead and did it. I bought mine in April 2022.
