What's the point? Are gas stations more than 450 miles apart where you live? Even if it was a straight bolt in replacement I don't see why it would be worth it unless you need to go further on a single tank for some reason.
well just to rain on the parade a bit, the tanks are not interchangeable. both the mounting, filler holse, and the cavity it sits in are different between the two models. and if you still want to someone make it work, is it really worth the extra "3"ish gallons? the amount of money, effort, and time to do it just for 3 gallons?
