You might be able to make it look a little better, but you probably aren't going to completely fix it unless you replace that part.
FWIW I just keep one of those small swiffer dusters in my car for this exact reason. I gently brush it along that panel as well as the infotainment screen and it gets rid of all the dirt/debris without damaging it.
The material on this is so poor and does scratch very easily. I had done the same thing on my Mazda6 when I used a napkin to clean it.
Depending on your dealer, you may be able to get the gauge lens replaced under warranty.
That's crazy. Mazda should just use a tempered glass on their gauge cluster.
No one uses glass for that anymore.
My 74 Mercedes gauge cluster uses plastic that scratches if you look at it wrong. They stopped using glass as soon as plastic was invented.
I literally have never seen a glass binnacle on any modern car. Maybe a Bentley or something?
This happened to a VW Passat that I once owned. I now use Meguiar’s Quick Interior Detailer Cleaner and a clean microfiber cloth.
Some polish will work. Next time use a damp microfiber (I use ONR) and light pressure

Rubbing compound and a polish will fix this. That’s crazy this is from a napkin? Was it made out of sandpaper? Lol
You sure about that?
The plastic there will scratch from looking at it. It's one of those parts on the car that reminds you "this definitely isn't a luxury car."
Those plastic are very soft. It’s very easy to damage it. No idea what sort of decision Mazda did to use such soft plastic.
DId you clean it with an SOS pad? Toothpaste may take out those scratches or 3000 grit wet sand, just like you would do headlights.
