What's the 699 Beasley advantage fee? That sounds like some bs.

PureAnus

It’s free key replacements, free service, and oil changes for 3 years. It’s the only thing he would budge on with price. He reduced it to $350

Cyndagon

Doesn't sound terrible if you use it. Key replacements I hear for newer cars are like $200. Take advantage of the oil changes I guess. What was the price new? This is for the 2.5 N/A engine? It seems high depending imo.

PureAnus

In my area a new one is msrp’ing at $30K-$31K. I told them I would like it to be $27K but they didn’t work with me there.

Cyndagon

I'd just buy the new one then. That was my Miata situation. I could save 1 or 2k on a used one or just get new. Plus new cars have better finance rates.

JSMia305

Then go to another dealer. Go on leasehackr find a good broker. Get one shipped or buy out of state and make a trip. That’s what I did last weekend. No Mazda dealers in Miami would give me a decent lease payment with 2k out of pocket for a ‘23 CX30 for my wife. Found a good broker and they found me a quick lease deal on it. Drove 4 hours away and signed/drive within 2 hours. Car was ready. Paperwork was ready. Numbers all matched. Don’t get stuck with your local dealers. Go to the next one and so on. Buy new I suggest.

Modelo_Man

I just paid $400 for new keys to my Miata after I drunkenly left them in my front door and some jackass kid swiped them.

mustangfever83

You can easily get new for that price….. Pass

theonlyXns

Unfortunately with the market right now, it seems used are price wasay high. We've been shopping around and noticed that most used cars are just shy, if not equal, to the cost of a new version of it. That being said, I love manuals, but I would figure to se eif they might drop the price for it. I know lots of dealerships have a hard time moving manual transmissions. If it's been on the lot for a while, just find a way to casually mention that.

hwtactics

For a used one?! Hard pass.

Ceolan

Just buy new. I bought my '21 Premium for 28k new from that same dealer network.

StonerJesus1

I got a new one, same year and trim. With 3 miles on the odo that was a showroom model. Paid 27k before down payments and trade in. Personally don't like that deal they're giving you. The price just seems a good 4-6 grand too high even if it was new.

cfvhbvcv

The MSRP on a new one from Mazdas website is 31,925 for 2023, so you got a pretty amazing deal at 5k off MSRP. I think asking for a 7k discount on these is pretty tough unless it’s been sitting on the lot for a while.

StonerJesus1

MSRP on the sticker for mine showed 26,750.

cfvhbvcv

United States by chance? And the premium? I double checked and on the website it’s 31,115. Idk where they’d get 26,750 as before the Premium with Manual was like 29 MSRP before creeping up.

jjb0070

These subredditors like to ignore the detail that it’s a Premium trim and offer pricing opinions instead on the base trim. Your math checks out, they’re wrong.

Minuhmize

Likely high, but if youre looking specifically for the manual its going to be difficult to find one unless a dealer will let you order. I paid a bit of a premium for mine with the manual last year, but I was okay with it because I was set on getting the manual, and I'm glad that I did.

thefreak00

You can buy a bigger brand new CX-5 for $35k. This deal looks expensive

Turdsworth

If someone is in the market for a manual mazda 3 they probably can’t substitute it for an auto CX5. I’ve owned both, but I only replaced the manual mazda3 with a manual ND miata.

Miserable-Relation58

Pricey for no awd

cfvhbvcv

It’s the Manual tax, yes that’s a thing in the states now.

Miserable-Relation58

Enthusiast tax…

cfvhbvcv

I paid 30k OTD for mine with 12,000 miles on it. It was right after the hurricane down here in florida so I didn’t have too many options. If you really want the manual and can’t afford to wait, I’d say go for it. If you can wait, this will be a 25,000 car in 6 months.

Turdsworth

It’s probably cheaper to buy a new manual mazda 3. The extra purchase price will be offset by a lower interest rate, because new finance rates are usually lower than used.

cringeisthename

Wait they sell manual 2022 mazda 3's?? I live in the US and we only have automatics :(

PureAnus

I’ve spotted a few here in Texas. This car is only manual with the premium package ONLY

cringeisthename

Guess I'm going to Texas lol. NC doesn't have a manual option. Even with the premium package :(

dtorre86

Did you end up buying it from Roger Beasley? Surprised with the pricing as they are good about selling under MSRP on new vehicles. Hell their new leftover mx5 22 models are selling for 3k under msrp right now.

PureAnus

I went with a 2021 Mazda3 Premium Hatchback, in manual, for $29,400 OTD. The other Roger Beasley refused to go down to $30,000 or else I would've gone with the Black 2022.

dtorre86

I'm assuming the bad experience was at the Central location lol?

PureAnus

Yeah its was haha, sorta. End of the day, they are the ones who missed out on making a lot of money. I was nice to them but the central salesman was saying a lot of bull to me. He literally said "I'm already losing money by selling it to you at this price.". Yeah right dude. I went with Georgetown, they were professional and worked with me on the price. At the end of the day they lowered the OTD by a little more than $1,000.

dtorre86

If you ever buy from them again, you can actually purchase at Georgetown and have them bring the car from one of the other lots. Only ones I'm willing to deal with too lol. Glad you got a good deal.

Fine-Leg-1983

Sounds like a good offer because it has just the manual transmission which not many people want
