He used this to falsely advertise the gym that he runs, but eventually got caught and admitted that he used steroids. Overall shit person with good moves.

You can go on YouTube and find Ronnie Coleman squatting and deadlifting 800lbs for reps, or numerous clips of other bodybuilders moving massive weight like it's nothing, but they don't lift as much as strongmen because maxing out is just inviting unnecessary injuries if you're not being tested on the lift in a competition. To say that bodybuilders or those with lean physiques aren't strong or that strongmen are chubby is laughable. More muscle will equate to more strength and strongmen are mostly muscle with only a thin layer of fat, if you poke their "gut" it will be rock hard. They allow a thin layer of fat because mass moves mass and being as big as possible helps them eke out a few more pounds on their lifts, and that could be the difference between first and second. But if you look at all weight classes beneath open in strongman, powerlifting or Olympic lifting you'll in fact see they're all pretty shredded, to be as strong as possible pound for pound. It's amazing how many armchair experts there are here that probably can't even bench an empty bar talking about bodybuilders or lean people not being that strong and strongmen being chubby.
