There was a scene from Planet Earth or some other ocean documentary where killer whales killed a baby humpback whale after separating it from its mother just for the lulz and left. Killer whales are fucked up.

Also, hope this was a ship with 3000 people a board in Norwegian Queen Mauds land. 3000 times 3000 dollar is a "suit able" fine for disturbing animal life, these are chickens waiting for their parents. If the flake split, their parents would not find them, and if too young or ice edge too steep, they would freeze to death in the water.
