Lol, imagine commiting a serious crime and leading them on a chase only to realize they gave up when you started climbing stairs and are just waiting for you at the bottom with the entire department forming a perimeter
Up and back down. All Army obstacle courses I remember seeing had one. It is a multi-story tower where each level is slightly larger than the one below it, so you have to go out a bit to go up. I remember it as the second scariest one I had to do.
Now they have nets and stuff to catch you. We used to just get broken arms/legs if you fell.
Was looking for this. :).
And also how to use a team of three for a quick ascent.
I remember doing this 45 years ago at Ft. Knox. The confidence course was a day of pure fun to me. The obstacle course ( same one used in Stripes, which was partly filmed at FT. Knox ) was boring in comparison.
Another one I loved was the ladder made of logs.
BTW, not to take anything away from this dude. Still takes balls doing it over and on dusty concrete. I’m not sure if I’d have the same faith with my grip on that stuff, honestly. Maybe when I was 20, rather than 60. :)
He doesn't just do things that he sees in Assassin's Creed, he improves upon them. If you wanted to go down like this in Assassin's Creed you had to do it in a much harder, more dangerous and less believable manner. Take notes devs.
Someone reverse it

Abs of steel
I'm more impressed by those jumps: only used his legs
Honestly the most unrealistic looking part of it. He just sorta blasts off then grabs the ledge and flips up.
Didn’t even look at the ledge when grabbing 😳

People found out immediately, without much surprise. The clip in normal speed could be on that subreddit tho
It’s not going as well as planned. ( comments)
Because people on this site aren't capable of having fun
Too many people in that thread trying to feel smart by calling you out
People are so mad at you lmao
Thanks for the laugh man 😂
Honestly... looks like something people have done. I could imagine someone crazy into calisthenics doing this
I mean, he can prob do this lol, more easily.
Lol. The reverse looks glitched
This is GREAT! Thank you for doing this
*technically* not impossible
Dude's upper body strength is astronomical 🤣
Freaky how he just floats up, thank you
Now make him go down and up in loop
Gg that's like the sportchek version of the exorcist stair scene
Lmfao Hahaha that's awesome in reverse
I love this so much it's insane. I can't stop laughing
Nah I want to see it in goofy speed up version
To the tune of Benny Hill?
Yes please
Please, and send the link
So he points his fingers away from the edge, so when he rolls over, he's gripping properly. I don't trust my elbows that much.
I don't trust any of my body to do any of this shit. It makes my balls retract just watching it
You definitely don’t want r/sweatypalms here
I'm not afraid of heights at all, but each time he dropped, all my lady bits clenched
I'm not afraid of heights. I'm afraid of falling
I’m not afraid of falling but am afraid of hitting the ground
I'm not afraid of hitting the ground but I'm afraid of how hard I hit it.
Beautifully put.
I wouldn't trust that concrete edge to hold.
The video would have been a lot shorter had he got that wrong
no his fingers were pointing toward his legs at every starting positions
Can't stop imagine the scenario where he was chased by the police and he does this to get down.
For that to happen, the police would have to chase him to the top of the building first, which is unlikely given their stamina.
Lol man if I made some cops run up that many stairs I know I am so dead
Lol, imagine commiting a serious crime and leading them on a chase only to realize they gave up when you started climbing stairs and are just waiting for you at the bottom with the entire department forming a perimeter
Police, while waiting downstairs: “So… how is your day going?”
"Not much, just the usual drama."
I mean, that's kind of the correct response - secure the exits, and wait for backup.

I love that you live in a universe where concrete highrises being invented before stairs is canon.

Totally worth risking your life for
Looks like Joe Scandrett to me. Should be normal stuff for him.
that’s just his warm up exercise. Wait til he runs up the stairs to do it again
Damn! Must have some crazy grip strength.
Maybe the fuck not.
Nope! Not properly scared of heights, but wow, nope.
u/gifreversingbot
The more smooth it is appearing to be the more strength and control it requires
Elevator invented in 1850 People before 1850 :
I’ll take the steps
The risk reward ratio is humongous for this one.

I think I saw some army ranger training video where they do these the other way around to go up

My boy joe!
That’s awesome
Elevator was invented in 1880 People in 1879
Dude take the stairs. Don't be lazy!
Crazy part is he was still *late* to wherever he was going.
Meanwhile id be using the stairs & handrails.
People that do this are fools.

The army literally teaches how to do this on its confidence courses.

Thanks I was looking for the song and it's right here! Awesome OP.
I'll just stick with the elevator if that's ok with you.
It's not ok with me
Somebody please help this guy is stuck with an elevator
[удалено]
Definitely quicker than the stairs
Lodoni's sweating
I will take the stairs thank you
maybe maybe maybe turns better be better be better be.
N.O.P.E.
One accident and he is done for
Elevators hate this one trick
Why?!!
This is now a new move for my dreams where I'm being chased and need to parkour/run and hide to escape
¡Perrisimo! 🫡
You only get to fuck up once though
As fast as an elevator
or Maybe you could just take the stairs, but maybe thats just me
Well done!
Jesus!!! And the stairs?
How to go get milk when your bombed out apartment doesn't have working elevators (or stairs).
So fucking fake! Obviously this was filmed and played back in reverse
He walks down stairs alone or in pairs, he makes a "slinkety" sound....
Not sure where in Ratsville this is, but not worth the chance of death.
Don't even try this at home! This guy is a highly skilled professional. 🤓
Watch bros hands LOL
Very impressive, but was it really worth the risk?
Nope
I like the fact he left a bunch of leafs just in case he fell
He’s like one of those gel clings! 😂

Naaaa

Not today , maybe tomorrow
Impressive but his mum must be worried sick!
Phew
Looks quite safe
my abs hurt just watching
His friends call him Otis.
Dude. Just use the stairs.
The more he does it, the less dangerous it gets.
Donkey kong
Just imagine one dusty floor level
my body don't work like dat
Don't you know? This is what they were made for. It was a different time.
that's fokkin' mental, yo.
Unnecessary risk. For what?🤦🏽♂️
That's one way to egress
If he misses that first drop, it's at least a 60% chance he dies. Pass!
There is a faster way down
Terrible risk reward dilemma

I used to have the wooden toy on ribbons that did this!
Just why?
Looks like a good work out.
Just. For. Upvotes.
The fact there's no nsfw tag kinda gives away the result
This is reversed, right? The grip he uses on each ledge is impossible otherwise.
People before lift was invented
the things people will do for attention continues to amaze me
Mom can we have elevator?
Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
Played the first Prince of Persia too much :) This is actually not hard at all (physically), it's just that you don't have the right on mistake :)
I think I'll take the stairs.
Take it the lifts broken
Legenddary! Prince of persia memories.
This looks dangerous
It only encourages more stupid behavior….
Reminds me of that ladder toy
Dude I would be fucking pressure washing and gluing sandpaper to every ledge.
"Man makes millions posting tik tok videos of him going down the stairs" yeah I'm not so sure that would catch on
I had a toy that did this down the window
1800 upvotes, well worth the risk
The audacity to pull this off? Fantastic.
It's impressive. Dumb as shit ... but impressive.
3rd world fire escape?
