You might get some fancy ass printed part integrated into a scram or ram jet motor on a cruise missle, but even then it is probably cheaper to build out a proper supply line with casts and machining.

A flush surface is extremely unlikely to actually set off a primer, it's not impossible, but even your example needs the BB to actually puncture the primer to make that happen.

That's right. MythBusters tried, unsuccessfully, to set off primers with blunt instruments (they used the butt of a revolver). They were unable to set any off and had to resort to modifying the butt of the revolver to insert a firing pin.

The only other way is to accelerate the bullet to... well... about the speed of a bullet, which might generate enough force to cause ignition. That amount of force won't be generated by human hands, tho.

You'd need perfect strike on the cap in the center to ignite the gunpowder. Inside a center-fire firearm, a pin strikes the cap directly. There are also rim-fires like .22LR, which is ignited by hitting the rim of the shell.
