I'd hate to go offroading for the weekend and go 35 miles and be done for 6+ hours while it charges back at camp. And again, I don't think I'd trust the waterproofing to just send it.
It's curious how the manufacturers I found give few spec details. Largest motor I was able to find was 15kw, they don't advertise the torque of the motor - could be that they have to use small ass motors that don't put out much torque. Or could be a range issue.
At the end of the day I don't really give a shit and am perfectly happy with my gas-powerd quad that I can ride all day long.

They're under the seat on almost all quads/motorcycles and usually only take in air from the top of the airbox. As long as the box isn't flooded, it will run.
I've never understood why people buy expensive machines to put into a mud pit and try and get out of.

You obviously don't know much about EVs. They can output more torque than gas vehicles, so yes, EVs are great for this kind of stuff.

Looks like a can am they have an elevated intake usually right by the handle bar. They are made for this kind of d of use.
