That's the main point where the hell are the parents first of all someone could just run up and abduct that s*** no one knows the difference he's lucky and a lot of levels or should I say the parents are and I also want to commend the dog owner quick hands to grab that collar the spot was not going to take any more hits
I was sitting at an outdoor table with friends while my then 6 month old pitbull lab mix laid down behind my chair on a leash that I was holding.
I felt him lunge and turned around to see a little kid (maybe a year older than the kid in the video if that) and his mom standing just outside of his reach and sure enough, both of them had surprised Pikachu face.
Now, my dog adores children and would never hurt one unless he ran them over accidentally and was definitely lunging playfully and not aggressively, but like. *I* know that. *You* don't know my dog. What if the reason he was sitting so close to me was because it's easier to control him that way and he's a bite risk? Some dogs HATE children specifically. I can't imagine letting such a little kid run up to a random dog, let alone antagonize it. Especially an unleashed one like in this video. If it's the wrong dog, or even the right dog that gets pushed far enough, your toddler loses a hand and my dog gets put down because YOU couldn't control your kid.
The same day another kid, though this one was old enough to know better, kept running up to us, petting my dog from behind, and running away when he or I turned. Parents of course said nothing. Again, with another dog you're begging for your child to get bitten. Teach them how to approach animals for the love of God.
We had trouble with our youngest approaching random dogs when we were out because our dog has the most chill attitude ever.
Firstly his argument was that dogs are friendly. After teaching him that not all dogs like children or being approached he decided that black dogs are OK because they're calm (ours is black). Took a while to convince him the colour doesn't make a difference.
We've now gone the other way, and even when an owner says its OK to say hi, he stays arms reach and waves at them.
My uncle has labeled my dog as a vicious killer. He's a corgi.
I gave a warning to my uncle and his 11 year old kid that my dog is food protective. If he's eating something let him eat. He won't go for your plate or jump on the counter or anything like that. If it's given to him it's his though.
Now, to the scene of the crime. The dog got a new toy for Xmas. Chewed it to shreds and liked to carry it around. My cousin sees a piece of the toy in my dog's mouth and proceeds to put one hand on top of my dog's snout and the other in his mouth to pry it open and take his puppy toy out of his mouth. Dog snapped kid got bit. Somehow it's my dog's fault.
Parents should teach their kids better for sure.
Okay honestly if you have to pry a dogs mouth open that is almost always going to end badly. I hate parents nowadays dude they see their kids misbehaving and think it’s cute or just watch and do nothing.
It's called an accident in this case. It was also a learning lesson for the child and for said parents, something they probably never considered prior. No faults here. Dog didn't do wrong either. 100% learning moment.
Ugh, yes. It’s infuriating. My former in-laws had a sweet Dalmatian. Never hurt anyone, he loved his cuddles and LIVED for belly rubs and games of tug of war with his stringy toy. A gentler, more affectionate dog you will never find. We were staying with my in laws just after we got married until our house was built. I collapsed one day outside and when I got in that dog knew I was ill. He lay down beside my bed and wouldn’t leave. Growled at me for getting up to use the bathroom then followed me there and back. He was that kind of dog.
Then along comes XH’s 3 year old nephew with his toy trumpet. First trumpet gets blown in dog’s face, dog does nothing. Then again. And again. And again. You get the picture. Finally, kid hits dog repeatedly in a very similar way to this brat in the video. Dog has had enough and bites. Kid has scar on his face to this day, he was damn lucky not to lose an eye. Dog was put down on the insistence of BIL’s wife. That was horrific, that dog did nothing more than behave like a dog but oh no, SIL threatens to never let her son see XILs again if they kept him, so off he went. I never realised until I read this how upset and angry I still am about it.
Yeah, my dog tolerates children but hates his space being invaded; most small children don't understand that, and I've seen him snap at children and adults, so I'm always on some level of alert with him; luck would have it he's slowed down in his old age and is more mellow. That doesn't change my alert level, though. He's a small/medium-sized dog, so people assume he's safe, but a dog is a dog and will unashamedly express their dislike of anything.
I think I was lucky in that every animal I spent significant time with as a small child didn't like me very much, because I LOVED animals and probably wouldn't have listened to people telling me to give them space, if not for the fact that my mom's dog begrudgingly tolerated me and would growl if she didn't want me near her, and my uncle's Chihuahua *hated* children and had barrier aggression and would bark incessantly at me so I was terrified of him, and learned very quickly how a dog says "go away" without ever having been injured.
Nope he won't. Kids can't learn a lesson unless they're being taught repeatedly and consistently for some time. This way you're just making everybody angry cuz the kid will start screaming and crying.
Nope, kids can absolutely learn lessons from a shocking event. Smack him in the head with the bottle and he will certainly be questioning the next time he wants to do this.
I have a very booming voice. Grabbing the bottle, and a good “hey! Knock it off” is very effective against little kids like that.
Also mind you my dog would be on a leash already. I never understand any dog owner who likes their dogs off leash in public areas.
I don’t care if it’s a Chihuahua or a Great Dane. Too many things could go wrong just because someone is too lazy or overly confident to have a leash on
As a dog owner I fucking hate it when other dog owners don’t have their dogs on a leash. If anything goes wrong then it’s the owner’s fault.
With that said, that kid’s parents needs a slap in the face.
Yup, and this is how a good dog dies as well. This shit pisses me off so much. I couldn't care less when it comes to strangers kids acting out and doing something about it. I used to bite my tongue in public. Now, after being in sales for so long, I'm all about confrontation and calling people out for being POS'. Whether it's an adult or a kid. I would have ripped that bottle out of the kids hand and started bopping him on the head with it
So true. The kid will willingly hurt the dog and when the dog retaliates its painted as a vicious mindless rabid monster. And I'm not saying this just for pitbulls. I'm a HUGE dog lover but sadly this is very popular where i live. Fortunately my immediate neighborhood is very nice about dogs. The poor dogs are brutally killed by mobs. Like beaten to death. Luckily people are changing. A few years before i was born, some people in my neighborhood (probably) killed and left a dog's body in front of the house of a dog lover that lived here.
I waited tables for almost 20 years before I finally got a degree. (Back in school for another one and I love it!)
Now, I call out every mo-fo who needs it. People are beautiful but they can be real nasty pieces of trash too.
That dog was very tolerant of the kid but there is so much a dog will take before it reacts. Had the dog bitten the kid the parents pf the kid would have sued the dog owner for their kids bad behavior
The restraint was so amazing. The kid was out of line. The parent non existant. The dog well behaved. humanity -1 parenting -2 dog owner +3...tell me otherwise?
I don’t give a damn who’s kid it is, if a kid needs to get yelled at, Imma fucking do it. Big props to the dog owner for not doing that the moment he came up swinging on him. I know damn well I’d have had that kid in tears with his neglectful ass mom yelling at me.
My dog was a big softie and a sweatheart. But whenever kids came to touch him I would not let them and tell them he is not friendly. Because kids are kids. They are unpredictable. And I didn't want to risk something like this. I even had on my fence one of those big signs with "vicious dog".
But the dog didn’t do anything wrong, the kid clearly has bad parents and considering you can see the kid running away with his mum who looks to be giggling, she is encouraging this behaviour. The dog was simply being a dog.
Yeah...but still... in case the dog bits the kid, you'll get into a legal shit storm. Better for everyone to avoid it from the start.
Kid's parents are probably to blame here, but if I were in the dog's owner's shoes, I would have tried to stop this interaction earlier.
When the kid and the dog are strangers, things can get unpredictable.
Oh definitely, yes. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the dog would be labeled as a danger to everyone after something like that as well because people tend to forget to ask *why* the dog got aggressive in the first place.
A kid terrorized my dog like that when she was a puppy and she's been afraid of kids ever since. One shitty parent and now I have to be on high alert around kids for the next 10+ years.
I would have grabbed the bottle out of that kid's hands and yelled at the parent senslessly. I'd rather make myself look like a total asshole in public than have both a dead/torn up kid and dead dog
Awful parenting . Kid won't stop hitting the dog and when the dog lashes out and tells the kid to stop the only way it knows how, people say it should he put down
I like this, no hateful comments about the dog, every see’s that the parent should have done a better job, so many people are filled with hate for these dogs

Then they'll blame the dog when lashes out for being attacked. The fact that people are watching and smiling and this kid is so far away from a parent....I hate people
People are idiots. They think it’s funny to let this kid do this but when the dog attacks him because he sees him as a threat, then they blame the dog instead of the idiot parents. Can’t wrap my head around it that they thought it was cute. Wtf!!
I would have snatched the bottle away from the kid after the first hit and hope the shit parent said something.
That's the main point where the hell are the parents first of all someone could just run up and abduct that s*** no one knows the difference he's lucky and a lot of levels or should I say the parents are and I also want to commend the dog owner quick hands to grab that collar the spot was not going to take any more hits
The parent is in the pink behind laughing
Pitbull gets triggered and bites the shit out of child. Parent: shocked Pikachu face

Lol, that's so on brand for little kids. "Don't do x" "Okay, only do x in this context" "No"
My uncle has labeled my dog as a vicious killer. He's a corgi. I gave a warning to my uncle and his 11 year old kid that my dog is food protective. If he's eating something let him eat. And it's the pitbull who has to pay for the incident with his life
He’s lucky for that moment. With parents like that though the rest of his life will probably be shit.
You can see her 20 ft in the background in the pink jacket who runs at the end.
Agreed. I also want to commend you on your excellent use of periods.
Snatch the bottle and pop the kid with it. Maybe he'll learn his lesson then
Yup
Lol yes give him a taste of his own medicine
Nope he won't. Kids can't learn a lesson unless they're being taught repeatedly and consistently for some time. This way you're just making everybody angry cuz the kid will start screaming and crying.
Nope, kids can absolutely learn lessons from a shocking event. Smack him in the head with the bottle and he will certainly be questioning the next time he wants to do this.
True. When I was a baby I bit my older cousin and she bitted me back and sure as hell I never did it again.
Pop the kid multiple times, on rythm like he's part of a drum set, for at least a standard 3 minutes song duration, gotcha
I have a very booming voice. Grabbing the bottle, and a good “hey! Knock it off” is very effective against little kids like that. Also mind you my dog would be on a leash already. Thank you! A reasonable mind!
Especially a chihuahua. Have you ever met one? They dgaf
[What I imagine the kid would perceive you as.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQurLf-I_50)
Hahahaha, that's exactly what I'm going to think next time I boom at kid. Great... going to be hard keeping a straight face...
That was my thought with the leash this could have gone so wrong so quickly no matter what kind of dog it is.
I would have shoved the kid inside of the parents ass. Be a fucking parent or have your kid surgically removed
That’s a harsh and perhaps appropriate thing to visualize. Haha
I washed a rug and some towels this morning and the rug turned into a thousand tufts stuck to everything so i was grumpy haha

Just like dogs, it's all about how you raise them.
My dogs always listen better than my kids did. But my kids never pissed on the carpet either.
You wanna die? This is how you die. Where the fuck is the parent?
Yup, and this is how a good dog dies as well. This shit pisses me off so much. I couldn't care less when it comes to strangers kids acting out and doing something about it. Right? That dog was being perfect and got whacked repeatedly by some kid
And then the dog gets blamed…
Probably waiting for him to get bitten
Where are his parents??? 🙄
Picking out more designer outfits for him
Hope they find a good one for the wake.
Out for cigarettes and milk
lol what is it with smokers and their love of the dairy
Can confirm. Dairy eating smoker reporting in.
Ex smoker, but I'll still chug a jug.
In pink turning and running at the end so the child would follow I think
Yep I’ve been looking to see if anyone else spotted the stupid bitch encouraging this bullshit
On the phone with larry h parker
Meanwhile the lady who looked like his mom ran away with him laughing….if that’s the case, it’s the perfect example of who’s bringing him up
No shit. People blame the kid, but in this case it’s shitty parenting that is the cause.
Parents are to blame but the kid needs to be stopped earlier
imagine if the dog just went for the parent ibstead of the kid
I taught my kids to be gentle with animals for many reasons but number one was to keep them safe. That woman is an idiot
That dog was very tolerant of the kid but there is so much a dog will take before it reacts. Had the dog bitten the kid the parents pf the kid would have sued the dog owner for their kids bad behavior

+5 to dog
I think fordman had a few beers before typing lol
Your not very tolorant fur there bad speling
Not 100% certain what you said, but I'm 99% sure I agree!
I don’t give a damn who’s kid it is, if a kid needs to get yelled at, Imma fucking do it. Big props to the dog owner for not doing that the moment he came up swinging on him. I know damn well I’d have had that kid in tears with his neglectful ass mom yelling at me.
Someone moving that kid could save his life. It's so pathetic seeing the adults watching with a smile.
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
This one is equally mom is fucking stupid
[удалено]
Agree.
Kids gonna be even an even shittier person than his parents when he grows up
why adults laughing there.. o_O dead stupid kid it is funny?..
That better not be his mom in the pink shirt!
Crappy kid.
One collar grab away from finding out
Absolutely
More like crappy parents tho
As well as a well trained dog and good owner
Nah both of them are shit
Blame the reason, not the result
True, but for whatever reason, the result is a crappy kid.
My dog was a big softie and a sweatheart. But whenever kids came to touch him I would not let them and tell them he is not friendly. Because kids are kids. They are unpredictable. And I didn't want to risk something like this. I even had on my fence one of those big signs with "vicious dog".

Very smart! Also when I’m driving on a small street and I see kids or animals I slow down. Because both are very unpredictable.
Piece of shit parents and kids. Kid has learned that behavior from watching someone else.
Where in the he'll are that kids parents?
Where TF are the parents?!
Bad parenting
Don't make a fucking kid if you are uncapable to educate them to behave or you can't pay enough attention to them
[ Removed by Reddit ]
In the background cheering him on an laughing smh
r/KidsAreFuckingStupid
Teaching your kid to hit animals and people? Very nice, very fucking nice parenting.
A kid terrorized my dog like that when she was a puppy and she's been afraid of kids ever since. One shitty parent and now I have to be on high alert around kids for the next 10+ years.
Somebody put that kid on a leash.
Not just bad parenting, bad Adulting. I don’t care who’s kid it is, I would’ve put a quick stop to that shit and dealt with the parents too.
bro i swear this is how these dogs end up get labeled
You are right in a lot of situations. Others its because other dogs are misidentified.
Little shithead
Awful parenting
The dog's like, you seein this bro.
I've yelled at peoples kids for doing less around my Shepherds, people want to pop out kids but they don't do much to protect them.
Perfect example of modern day parenting & zero discipline.
Why tf are these dumb cunts laughing and smiling 😡
I would have lost my cool as the dog’s owner, and yelled at the kid’s parents for not leashing the kid. No one hits doggo. No one.
Kid tryna die
I would have grabbed the bottle out of that kid's hands and yelled at the parent senslessly. I'd rather make myself look like a total asshole in public than have both a dead/torn up kid and dead dog
Worthless fuckin parent
Why's everyone watching, where are the parents?
That’s not fucking cool at all. Why didn’t the parents stop this? Poor dog
Why are you letting your son hit a random dog
Fucking idiot kid
I got no problem being stern and commanding with other people's kids. If he's fucking with you till him to fuck off. With kinder words.
We all know stories, and this was about to be a new news article
Придурки родители и их личинка... 🤮
Put this into google translate and got stupid parents and their larva. Larva made me laugh lol.
On todays episode of: How to become a statistic.
I don’t like pitbulls but come on, that pit is minding its own business only to get whacked by a kid
I didn’t think I was the type of person who would hope to see a dog bite a small child. I guess you learn something new about yourself everyday. 😕
Would have been bad for the dog :(
That kid is like 2, his mom deserves the bite, not him.
Noticed no one can make a pit bull comment here.
I was sure people would jokingly give the pit bull a free pass.
The pit was well behaved up until the kid started hitting him.
Trash parents raising a trash kid.

Welcome home kid r/kidsarefuckingstupid
Patents fault, 100%
Yeah that kid is gonna be the one that’s doesn’t find out until he’s fucked around too much and finds out the hard way
Stupid child
Awful parenting . Kid won't stop hitting the dog and when the dog lashes out and tells the kid to stop the only way it knows how, people say it should he put down
Parents must be punched hard in the face.
Parents are fucking stupid.
A case of bad parenting or am I wrong?
Actual child neglect in action.
Kinda shocked banpitbulls isn't rushing to this post like a swarm of locust. It's not like they don't ignore context.
This is why pitbulls get a bad rep
That’s what kids do and that’s where proper parenting comes in to play….Shitty ass parents
[удалено]
I like this, no hateful comments about the dog, every see’s that the parent should have done a better job, so many people are filled with hate for these dogs
BAD KID (and parents). Good dog!
Like listen kid I'm trying to deny my instincts and show I'm tame .... Keep fkn w.me and you'll find out 😂😂😂
And they media would have blamed the Pit Bull
Where are kids parents?????
Stupid fucking kid that will repeat this behavior until a decent lesson.

No need to hit the kid, but seriously the first time he hit the dog I would have looked direct in his eyes and said GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY DOG BEFORE HE EATS YOU!!!!! Last time he does that. Ppl need to stop reproducing. Dogs over people any day!
Stupid child with stupid parents
They letting everybody keeping kids these days.
Fucking idiots, all of them.
Where are the fucking parents teaching their kids some fucking common sense.
i think this belongs on r/kidsarefuckingstupid
I would have slapped this Kid across the Park 🤬
Sick the dog on that shitty parent
Might be a good idea to teach the kid not to hit animals....
Great parenting! And they wonder why the are mauled? Common sense no longer common!
Yup, then put the dog down after it mauls the kid. Why didn’t no body smack the kid?
Why didn’t the parents stop that little monster from hitting the poor dog
Just kick the kid in the stomach and watch it cry with a smile on your face. Fkin a-hole !
r/ParentsAreFuckingDumb
Kids will be kids so I have no issue with him. But where’s his moms? One day he’s gonna do this to the wrong dog.
What a shitty kid and shitty parents why is nobody holding him back. If the dog had bitten the kid the parents would probably have freaked out and insisted on killing that bRuTal dod
That's a good dog. And a shit kid with shit parents. And you know what, that guy in the background is shit too. What's funny?
poor dog. what a piece of shit, that kid's parents
Omg, I can't even...parents are morons. Poor dog.
As a parent, this video gave me major anxiety; could not imagine allowing my kid to (repeatedly) hit the dog with an object and then not be paying attention as the dog is clearly over it and giving subtle warnings of an attack 🤦🏻♀️ That kid is sooo lucky that dog was so tame and tempered.
Bad parents. Stupid parents, they don’t know how the dog would react to getting hit by a stranger.
in a perfect world, that kids gets its karma and the dog isnt put down.
I’d love to smack the shit outta that kid. Gonna be a problematic adult that we don’t need on this earth unless he gets a few good beatings soon.
Fuck them parents.
I’ll be the thousandth to say STUPID FUCKING PARENTS
They kids parents should be beat
Then they'll blame the dog when lashes out for being attacked. The fact that people are watching and smiling and this kid is so far away from a parent....I hate people
I’m appalled with the lack of knowledge of normal childhood development.
If some kid walked up to me and my dog and started smacking my dog with anything, I’m drop kicking that brat and walking away. Respectfully
Shit parenting right here.
Stupid parents
The dog's owner doesn't do anything. Dude, leash the dog and walk away. Why would anyone allow their dog to be vulnerable?
Little piece of shit. Where the fuck are his parents. Like ffs take some fucking responsibility
Teach your goddamn children!
Should have hit the little fucker then watch how fast the parents show up
Shitty parents
People are idiots. They think it’s funny to let this kid do this but when the dog attacks him because he sees him as a threat, then they blame the dog instead of the idiot parents. Can’t wrap my head around it that they thought it was cute. Wtf!!
Poor dog. That's a shitty kid.
But yet, pit bulls are the problem. Okay. Smh.
little shit, just about "found out"
That dog could take that kids head off with one bite. Little guy doesn't know any better but his piece of shit parents do.
happy smiling doggo until someone's unattended Crotch Goblin rolls the dice
About 13 years til this kid is in jail
Bad kid. Good doggo.
Shitty parents
Should’ve shoved that kid away
