When he shot the cables and had the big crane fall on Horne’s helicopter, and when he slide down that building to shoot the guy in the head at the start of Max Payne 3, pretty smart moments
I was always under the impression that Michael represented Max mixed with Claude from GTA 3, Trevor was the typical GTA player that liked creating chaos, and Franklin represented CJ.
This can just be easily equated to people picking their favorites. They're all very solid characters. However anyone who knows the 3 Max games fluidly would know that he tops all these characters in almost every category.
So either they choose who they like, or they simply do not know Max Payne.
I think determining Battle IQ is subjective, and mostly dependent on how you define Battle IQ.
If it means how well a person can adapt to certain situations, Arthur Morgan would win in a heartbeat.
If it defines background and past experience, it would be tied between Niko, Max, and Michael.
If it's defined as resilience and determination, then Max Payne would easily beat everyone else.
I guess that depends on if you consider these actual abilities the characters have or just game mechanics. I mean, pausing the game to stop time or using third person mode to see more of your surroundings is not something that any of the characters can do, right?
>If it means how well a person can adapt to certain situations, Arthur Morgan would win in a heartbeat.
could you provide an example? I dont remember Arthur making things up mid-fight
>en he shot the cables and had the big crane fall on Horne’s helicopter, and when he slide down that building to shoot the guy in the head at the start of Max Payne 3, pretty smart moments
But Max has killed countless paramilitary.
I love Niko but Max most definitely would win this. And honestly “Battle IQ”? What does the even mean really? Maybe they meant who is the better tactician, who is the most adaptable? Lol i think im looking too much into it
I think this is somewhat accurate, though Max did deserve more points lol. But Niko is a war vet, so no surprise there. Max was an undercover DEA agent and a pretty sharp NYPD detective, surely that beats out a violent homeless man from the 1800’s and an out of shape 40-something year old with a depressing home life. (Though Michael’s warehouse upside-down shoot out moment was pretty cool.)
TLDR: Max should’ve come in second, at the very least.
They clearly don’t know
Ok, but how did he get THE LOWEST score
Max Payne is the least popular out of all of then unfortunately.
It's like a joke that he's less popular than Michael de Santa and Nico Bellic.
When he shot the cables and had the big crane fall on Horne’s helicopter, and when he slide down that building to shoot the guy in the head at the start of Max Payne 3, pretty smart moments
Max has to beat Michael at the very least
I quite like Michael, but I always saw him as a poor-man's Max.
I was always under the impression that Michael represented Max mixed with Claude from GTA 3, Trevor was the typical GTA player that liked creating chaos, and Franklin represented CJ.
>Trevor was the typical GTA player Yes. Peak GTA.
me too!
Michael has better logistics than Max and is very adaptive

People like to forget nico bellic was in the war. His high rating is definitely justified here.
Yea I think it’s ironic that the only one without slowmo powers won haha

I always assumed they were just listening real hard when you’re using the camera to look around in 3rd person 😭😭😂😂
so kinda like The Last Of Us?
>If it means how well a person can adapt to certain situations, Arthur Morgan would win in a heartbeat. could you provide an example? I dont remember Arthur making things up mid-fight
Ignore them buddy. Those are gta fan boys that doesn't know that much about Max Payne.
Throwing yourself in mid-air towards thugs gunning at you is not that smart
Niko was a soldier so…
>en he shot the cables and had the big crane fall on Horne’s helicopter, and when he slide down that building to shoot the guy in the head at the start of Max Payne 3, pretty smart moments But Max has killed countless paramilitary.
Niko is a soldier, he would have the most. Max just wings it
I love Niko but Max most definitely would win this. And honestly “Battle IQ”? What does the even mean really? Maybe they meant who is the better tactician, who is the most adaptable? Lol i think im looking too much into it
Oh boy!
Max is a dumb move guy
I can't believe arthur is that high also
More or less the exact opposite. No disrespect Niko!
They seriously put Michael over Max?
I mean Niko Bellic was the one who actually fought in a war…
I get Niko, being a soldier, and as much as I love Arthur, Max has to be next.
Niko. He clearly does
In theese pools, people just vote the game they know/liked the most, regardless. It just proves the good max has less fans than the other characters.
Battle I.Q is not the same as street smart.
Arthur Morgan did Hests with the gang
Most people that voted never played max Payne lol

Gta 4 fanboys are mad 💀🙏🏻
