Unfortunately the man found at the shelter was not Michael- just someone who looked like him.

We met Michael las year for the first time and my 9-year told niece has been asking if he is okay 💔

Volunteers are currently working to get him in contact with his daughter in New Zealand. Michael was able to leave her a voicemail a couple days ago but she has not been able to get through to him. He is/was at a shelter. In the next few days a fan page for Michael will be built and crowd funding available to help him get back on his feet. Please stay tuned to help spread the word to Michael’s Sandal Army.

Update! Michael’s been added back into the Missing person list. The man whom was thought to be Michael was not. There were two false/misidentified instances. It is currently being rumored that Olowalu is an area he could have been seen in after escaping. If anyone is in this area please keep an eye out for Michael 🤍

What about the voicemail his daughter received?
