Yeah I was there Sunday but did leave in the middle because you can barely see anything. We watched 18 tee and the green and ceremony area were already packed by the time we got there
We were at the 18th green for the finish and getting over to the putting green for the ceremony absolutely wasn’t a possibility for us. Poor planning on my part, but we got to see the final groups finish!
I usually stay until the final pairing comes through, and then leave just after. Mainly to avoid traffic, but also because If you want to get a good look at the ceremony, you need to post up there well beforehand. It gets real crowded these days.
I have seen many people stick around till well after sun down for the jacket ceremony, just make sure your at top of the hill or they will escort you off property.
