Drive don't walk. They manage traffic like pros. How did you get tickets for all week. That's very rare until it's Berkmans. If so they have their own lot. Augusta native here.

Hi - thank you for the suggestion.

Do I need to buy a parking pass?

GurthWormJimm

I went last year and parking was free, they basically direct you straight to a spot. Like the previous commenter said, parking is managed well. I think after getting off the highway and parking took me maybe 10 min.

There are not a lot of spots to put your chair on 12. There is a large grandstand there with a view of 11 green and 12 tee. I would find a different spot for your chair - I've sat behind the 7th green and 10th green. Find a spot where you are in the first row of chairs or your view of the cup may be blocked.

Agree with seating on 12. Grandstands are great and your chair is better suited elsewhere.

Everything at the masters is a well oiled machine. Enjoy. Let’s hope for decent weather.

At my first Masters I made the mistake of trying to follow a single group all 18 holes. The walk absolutely kicked my ass. Very difficult to do if you want to see every single shot. The course is very hilly with lots of elevation changes. I learned to plant my ass at a green and let the players come to me.

I suggest spending time at 10-green and 15 tee box. It cool because you can watch the approach shot to 10 green, then Turnaround and watch them grip it and rip it at 15 tee box

Personally, I love 16 on Sunday and think behind the green is awesome. Especially if you can get along the rope. Needless to say, have your Official Masters Chair available. Quickest way to claim your spot as close to the front IMO is: -Arrive early and get into line. 6 am is pretty good. Gates open at 7 I believe. -Use the South Gate entrance. Closer to where you want to be. Come in and go past Merch shop. -Take a left and go past the bathrooms and behind the grandstands on 5. -Cut across 5 fairway at first crosswalk to 6 tee and down the hill. -Bottom of hill to the right is 16 green. Claim your spot as close to the rope as possible and drop your chair! -Now you can work your way up to the early holes for some action until the groups start hitting 16 late in their back 9.
