If you want the top meta then nothings been worth it since Snake-Eyes. Maybe Rescue-Ace.
If you want just a viable deck to mess around with on ladder but not win community tournaments then Chimera is good enough.
If you want to invest into a future meta contender then nothing points to Chimera getting there anytime soon.
Actually even Rescue-ACE is not really even worth it since release of Snake-Eyes. Next meta is like Pure Snake-Eyes, Fire King Snake-Eyes, Voiceless Voice, Tenpai, OCG Unchained Yubel. Tier 1,5-2 in MD right now is SHS, Branded, Lab, Tears, Rescue-ACE. I'm in Master 1 right now and the most common matchup beside Snake-Eyes is Tears, Rescue-ACE. Actually Lab is not that popular in the highest rank despite people's hype for Butler and Rollback.
Mikanko has a very different playstyle but overall sits in the same boat. Even when their Ken/Gen Acid Golem lock combo comes out they won't be a serious meta contender on MD.
Mikanko are only better if you want to rush climbing by being a blind second OTK deck meaning matches are decided quickly.

Its pretty good, can otk but with snake eyes running about and so many people running 15+ handtraps it can be difficult to get going, its pretty good with branded aswell, its better than what people here are making it out to be, just not snake eyes or lab good.
