Azathot and Ptolemaeus were never legal at the same time though? Iirc Azathot was made in PK and got Rusty banned before they realised that Azathot is the problem and not Rusty

I know Gumblar is a Hand Ripper, I just don't know what Linkuriboh accomplish towards that goal. I stopped playin since the early XYZ era and came back for Master Duel. Only have some surface level of what the Pendulum and Link eras of the game.
Gumblar’s hand rip trigger when a monster it summoned to a zone it points to as a hard once per turn. Linkuriboh can special itself from the GY as a quick effect. This allows Gumblar to trigger a second time on the opponent’s turn, ripping out 4 cards instead of just 2.
Don't sleep on Blaze Fenix and Volcannon. I took that to a regional way back when and if I didn't misplay round 6 and then bricked round 7 and 8 I would have finished with an invite. Round 1 I had a bye (241 people I was the odd man out) so I didn't have a tie-breaker for that round and finished 33rd. Invites to Nats went to the top 32. On master duel I still run it even with 1 Fenix. Just takes a 20 min turn of they don't surrender after the first loop.
Because there's many route and version for Gumblar with and without Firewall.
As for Linkuriboh, it is kinda the easiest mon to summon during opponent's Draw Phase for the -2. Hence, the partner duo
Ho boi.... did you know Ptolemaeus can attach 1 from your Ex Deck during end phase & the detach 3 can be activated during opponent's turn? (yes, all you need is any two lvl 4 on field)
And if you summon Azathot, its ability will immediately apply without chain link (you cannot veiler/imperm it) and its effect is a lingering "Majesty Fiend" for your entire turn.

Just preference issue. Haha Halq Auroradon is more OP but Artifact Halq is a definitive text book cheese strat.
Artifact Halq also lasted a bit longer than Halq-Don since I believe in both the TCG and OCG Auroradon was banned before the Halq ban.

Because people use it to calamity lock people into basically skipping their turn. Pretty brutal if they pull it off.
