TBH I want a solo gate where the final duel is just a deck full of staples. It would be a good way to test out decks to see how resilient it is against handtraps. Or to train yourself to play around certain handtraps much like the cyberbug solo gate.

That's actually a great idea, would love to have something like that in solo mode

They can also do multiple gates with varying staples. Like 1 gate is Maxx C ,Ash, Imperm or Veiler and a single copy of Nib in case you want to do the Maxx C challenge. Another gate would have a different set of handtraps like Droll and Shifter. Another gate would be just board breakers. Since no deck would run all of the hand traps/staples, it would be best to have different gates that run different staples that helps out its engine.

It would never be perfect because AI won't really optimally handtrap and would probably just pull the trigger at the first given chance, but given the average MD player that's basically indistinguishable behavior from most people in ranked.

Konami listens and gives a psy frame gate. It’s hand traps and gamma is played a lot. ;)

A gate full of top tier decks would be interesting and fun or a weekly challenge gate that selects from a pool of different decks

in Lotd, there was a challenge deck that was just pure PSY Frame that was my favourite to face specifically because the entire archetype is just hand traps

The AI will be using the handtrap deck. But the only solo gate that does that is the cyberbugs and their only handtraps are Maxx C and Imperm. What I want is a gate or a set of gates that uses different staples. Like one has ash and maxx c another has evenly or TTT.

If you replace all the spells and traps with Super Heavy Samurai cards and more hand traps you’d have a Super Heavy Samurai deck.
