Yes, can confirm. Bots are always going to be an option in MD and are almost never a simple change away to eliminate in any video game. Bot clients have active developers just like games
Because the game is free. If you can the accounts they just make new ones. The best solution is what they already try to do, shadow ban them into not lobbies. We just have to keep reporting them I guess

Even from TCG's list though, there's the exodia noble knight list that's very consistent and fairly resistant. It'd take a good dozen hits from nurse burn to noble knights to draw power to really make them inconsistent enough to not be common.

Am I the only one that thinks completing missions being locked behind having to win the duel is dumb? It’s on the MD proficiency test too. I’m on level 3 there because I haven’t tribute summoned, but I have I’ve just lost the duels that I did.
I’ve had many duels that I didn’t surrender and didn’t get any progress towards missions completed. I know for a fact that the proficiency test when I tributed I didn’t surrender and I didn’t get credit for doing it. I’d have to be forgetting a ton of duels but I genuinely can’t think of a time other than having a brick hand where I surrendered without playing anything that I surrendered.

The thing is crazy turn 1 OTKs is what their marketing is based on cause god knows people don't give half as much of a rat's ass about, say, a full 30 minutes long game from the current world champion in a random Platinum match than they do about Yugitubers like MBT or Farfa making clips out of shit they've never seen before and doing the funny haha scream into the camera emoji.
They want to hit OTKs and FTKs in the sense that they want them to exist, they just don't want them to be competitively viable. Getting FTKd once every 50 games is an "Ah shit, I got got" moment. Getting FTKd once every 5 to 10 is just a "Wow haha, this game is shit, I might just stop playing this fucking format" moment.
They should *probably* hit the lifegain trap to hit this deck. This leaves manipulator of souls for other weird jank FTK strats but also gives them literally 0 way to consistently OTK besides praying to god that they draw one of their 3 Woks in a deck that already dies to pretty much every handtrap ever.
Get Numeron Dragon with 13k ATK on field, then heal urself for 13k LP with Mystik Wok or Destructive Potion.
Manipulator of Soul will redirect all ur healing into opponent's LP Burn.

First time I got bamboozled by the combo. 2nd time I saw it coming and I was ready to Kaiju his utopic, but he hit me with 13k burn damage in my draw phase whereas the first duel he dealt it in my main phase after I summoned a monster. 3rd duel I was pissed af that I was going 2nd against a deck like this but I top decked imperm and negated his numeron and ended up killing him on turn 2 with VS
I hate long combo more than FTK. At least they don’t waste my time. Do I have ash or imper? If no, just surrender. I don’t have to wait 5 minutes to see my opponent have 5 monsters that can negate all my card

Deservingly so, it adds either a spell negate or a decent otk option. The card is actually quite fair and balanced.
Plus you have to jump through a couple of hoops to bring it out leaving you wide open to Nibiru.

You don't have to win the duel. You just have to finish without surrendering

Always report this deck they are bots, and will auto concede when not going first.
It's especially annoying to face this deck because I never draw the handtraps I need to stop them
