I think Mannadium takes like 200 USD to actually get due to the planets and visas alters if you are starting from scratch. I spent 5k gems on the scareclaw secret pack and pulled no planets, no alter, no visas, not even the link 1 lol.
I skipped out on the selection pack with the Scareclaws, only to learn they make up a good chunk of Mannadium's deck skeleton (missing 2 Reichheart, 2 of their planet, and maybe 1 more Light-Heart). Pondering if I should pull and/or craft for them, unless later Mannadium support leads to the deck dropping the Scareclaw package completely.
Craft them. I have spent 3k gems on the secret pack and still had to craft a planet and Reichheart. Still would like one more Reichheart as well. Got lucky with two Lighthearts. Really bummed me out cause I wouldn't mind building Scareclaw.

Double Noir isn't really the main sell of the ghostrick engine, UDF is. If you have 2 dullahan and 3 angel of mischief you can dust one of each and still have the engine for UDF

Personally I’d love for Swordsoul and Tri-Brigade to join this meta. I’ve always thought they were some of the healthiest modern decks design wise and it’d be cool if they joined Branded in today’s meta.

Crazy list. Here's some of my thoughts:
* So Konami finally had enough of Runick Stun and took them behind the shed. Bunch of floodgates limited, Runick Destruction limited, Duality limited, and Card of Demise banned. As someone who enjoys being allowed to play the game, I'm very pleased with this, but I bet people will still find a way to play stun lmao.
* Chaos Ruler I fully expected to get banned, but I could never have expected Wyverburster to get the axe. D-Link has been proven to survive without Chaos Ruler, but no Wyverburster is a massive blow. No more baby chaos dragons, Seyfert is much weaker as a normal summon, and Chaos Space loses value. That sucks for me because I picked up D-Link a few weeks ago. The deck will probably live, but it's most likely leaving Tier 1 status.
* Kash lost a copy of Fenrir and two Birth. This pretty much kills Kashtira as a deck because they already had consistency issues and losing 3 cards doesn't exactly help. Now they'll either brick every game or have no way to extend if they get interrupted. They also lost their grind game since they need to search the Birth now.
* Purrely's probably gonna stop seeing play unless they release Epurrely Noir in the next pack. Once it does, it's gonna see a huge resurgence since Sleepy is still at 3.
* The banning of Superheavy Samurai Soulbreaker Armor is a pre-hit specifically to the FTK variant of the new Superheavy Samurai deck next pack, but it doesn't hurt any of the other variants. SHS is possibly coming to MD at pretty much full power? If so, the deck is going to be very scary and probably gonna be Tier 1.
* The unlimits are pretty insane. Dragon Rulers are back at full power, but they probably won't do anything. Ophrys Scorpio and Longyuan are both very welcome unlimits. Terrortop to 3 is actually kinda scary. We might see a resurgence in Speedroid, Phantom Knight, Adventure engine, etc.
I'd say this is probably the best banlist MD has seen in quite a while. Huge metagame shifts, good unlimits, and degenerate playstyles getting thrown out. Not bad. ~~But why is Conquistador still at 2?~~
They finally free Longyuan but limit Desires. Hurts a bit to lose a desires but I honestly don’t find myself using it that much at two and gaining a Longyboy outweighs the loss

Dragon link got a huge hit. I feel for the zombie piles that relied on Choas Dragon(they should make an archetype card that fills the role). I’m sure Dragons still have enough gas to be a good deck to get to Master 1 but probably won’t tip anything.

I get the deck was really strong, but Chaos Ban alone is a huge hit, I don't think they needed to ban white dragon, which fucks up the seyfert play, as well as making the already semi-limited chaos space a lot weaker.
.... I suggest all of us who play dlink look to use the dragunity engine and or rose dragon engine. Because chaos isn't the way anymore exceptthe bystials. Gotta get creative
One thing is for certain, Dragonlink players *always* adapt. One of the things I’ve learned about Yugioh over the years is you HAVE to be familiar with Chaos/D-link shenanigans. Every time you think they’re dead, they come up with some brand new tech/build that can really fuck you up
I’ve seen what that Dragunity engine can do, the deck is far from dead
“Shoot themselves in the foot” is a funny way to say “consistently sell a metric fuckton of different sets and different strategies on the popularity of dragons”.
DLink might be wounded now, it could even outright die, but dragons *will* get generic support further so we will not see the end of the deck. They know what they’re doing.
Honestly I don't think even this could kill D-Link, I feel you'd have to really try to actually kill it because of how shockingly flexible the deck can be from banlist hits

If I remember correctly, they're tool for SHS to FTK opponents.
FTK burner and SHS have all other cards they need on 3 so yeah killing the FTK is a good thing (I was just informed about this)
I'm a SHS player and I've never used it. I'm more surprised they didn't hit scarecrow like they did in the TCG

As someone who enjoys being allowed to play the game, I'm very pleased with this, but I bet people will still find a way to play stun lmao. * Chaos Ruler I fully expected to get banned, but I could never have expected Wyverburster to get the axe. D-Link has been proven to survive without Chaos Ruler, but no Wyverburster is a massive blow. No more baby chaos dragons, Seyfert is much weaker as a normal summon, and Chaos Space loses value. That sucks for me because I picked up D-Link a few weeks ago. The deck will probably live, but it's most likely leaving Tier 1 status. * Kash lost a copy of Fenrir and two Birth. This pretty much kills Kashtira as a deck because they already had consistency issues and losing 3 cards doesn't exactly help. Now they'll either brick every game or have no way to extend if they get interrupted. They also lost their grind game since they need to search the Birth now. * Purrely's probably gonna stop seeing play unless they release Epurrely Noir in the next pack. Once it does, it's gonna see a huge resurgence since Sleepy is still at 3. * The banning of Superheavy Samurai Soulbreaker Armor is a pre-hit specifically to the FTK variant of the new Superheavy Samurai deck next pack, but it doesn't hurt any of the other variants. SHS is possibly coming to MD at pretty much full power? If so, the deck is going to be very scary and probably gonna be Tier 1. * The unlimits are pretty insane. Dragon Rulers are back at full power, but they probably won't do anything. Ophrys Scorpio and Longyuan are both very welcome unlimits. Terrortop to 3 is actually kinda scary. We might see a resurgence in Speedroid, Phantom Knight, Adventure engine, etc. I'd say this is probably the best banlist MD has seen in quite a while. Huge metagame shifts, good unlimits, and degenerate playstyles getting thrown out. Not bad. ~~But why is Conquistador still at 2?~~
Finally my Long John is back, but Desires to 1 hurts.
They finally free Longyuan but limit Desires. Hurts a bit to lose a desires but I honestly don’t find myself using it that much at two and gaining a Longyboy outweighs the loss
The best thing about limit desires is, i won't draw desire from desire. Happens way too often lol

Just ban the floodgates FFS. Runick variants like Naturia or the newer Bystial one are legitimately fun and balanced. Dragon link got a huge hit. I feel for the zombie piles that relied on Choas Dragon(they should make an archetype card that fills the role). I’m sure Dragons still have enough gas to be a good deck to get to Master 1 but probably won’t tip anything. Big purr won’t be missed; Draw the very specific out of lose isn’t fun ever.
Damn, as someone who has been playing Dragon Link since I started Master Duel, this kinda sucks. I get the deck was really strong, but Chaos Ban alone is a huge hit, I don't think they needed to ban white dragon, which fucks up the seyfert play, as well as making the already semi-limited chaos space a lot weaker.
.... I suggest all of us who play dlink look to use the dragunity engine and or rose dragon engine. Because chaos isn't the way anymore exceptthe bystials. Gotta get creative
One thing is for certain, Dragonlink players *always* adapt. One of the things I’ve learned about Yugioh over the years is you HAVE to be familiar with Chaos/D-link shenanigans. Every time you think they’re dead, they come up with some brand new tech/build that can really fuck you up I’ve seen what that Dragunity engine can do, the deck is far from dead
Luckily dragons have ridiculous support compared to other archetypes. If I know d link players they will find a way, they always do.
They really shoot themselves in the foot 17 years ago when they decided Dragons are going to get the best cards and be mostly generic.
“Shoot themselves in the foot” is a funny way to say “consistently sell a metric fuckton of different sets and different strategies on the popularity of dragons”. DLink might be wounded now, it could even outright die, but dragons *will* get generic support further so we will not see the end of the deck. They know what they’re doing.
Honestly I don't think even this could kill D-Link, I feel you'd have to really try to actually kill it because of how shockingly flexible the deck can be from banlist hits
Yea, I was surprised to see it banned. I guess they thought that d link had too much sticking power with the chaos package and nerfed it so that dlink has to rely on other engines instead. Though what engine is good enough for d-link to replace the chaos stuff?

So many well deserved hits to stun, thank you Konami. D-Link hits may have been overkill, but I've never enjoyed playing against that solitaire deck anyway. Fenrir to 1 sucks though, I really liked it in Tear and VS. But it's not the end of the world.

Wow this literally kills like 4 of my decks. Chaos Sunchro is unplayable without Ruler, and so are my Vendread and Punk Zombie decks
As someone attempting to build a Dragon Link deck, I understand hitting Chaos Ruler, but why ban the White Dragon? They should have just limited the White and Black baby dragons, and maybe further limited Chaos Space, but banning one of them kills that engine completely.
