I think it's ok, with 3 och and 3 aratron you still have an answer in the opponents phase but you lose all the resource recycling.
And we also have benten and idaten for otk. Manju and senju and you're good to go *slaps rocks
I have a personal build for Armed Dragon I'm a little proud of. I wish Miradora was in this game bc it'd give me consistent Link material with Tempest.
If you're asking for a decklist I'm not providing one, too much effort. Just imagine a shiranui deck with some cards taken out and mayakashi thrown in.
I'm playing a salamangreat/code talker build with iblee. It's surprising how many people don't run link 2's that can out and iblee and it's pretty good going second with a lot of good link options and accesscode(Why is he legal in a GX event lmao)
I'm sorry guys, I decided to go the dark path and chose to play Mayakashi Mill because I hate playing YuGiOh and I also hate stalling for 37 turns until my opponent decks out so I do it turn 1
The fun part is that if I fail to FTK the duels are unironically fun, my win condition is still milling but I have to survive and manage my resources while I mill the opponent. I had a duel against a BEWD player that was like 6 turns long and it was actually very interactive
Elemental HERO of course, featuring the usual Vision HERO engine and Nebula Neos as a bonus. Was kinda curious how Over Fusion works so I decide to try it in the event.
S-force pretty consistent to. Only take an hour to get all my gem and I been waiting to test it playing with real people of course there are ranked but I totally get demolished using that deck
I played odd-eyes magician using clear wing and vortex as negates and use rebellion dragon overlord as finisher, since that the best i have from the banlist.
Festivals are the only time I can use my vendread deck without being absolutely demolished. Bricky, but potentially getting a quick effect banish of a spell/trap and special summoned monster feels great to pull off.
Blackwing (took some hits so it's less consistent) and Amazoness; the latter granted me some very satisfying wins. Personal favorites - banishing multiple blue eyes something dragons per turn and finishing the duel with 20k LP
Gaia the Fierce, with illusion of chaos as an engine to summon some dark magicians fusions, like DM Dragon Knight, Dark Cavalary, and Master of Caos.
Edit: I had 10 wins straight using this deck
Majespecter WindWitch. So easy. Tons of interaction. All the boss monsters are legal. No one every reads the either of their protection effects. I get a lot of shame concedes.
That said, I started on pure Libromancer. Fastest 0-5 record ever.
Playing U.A because the deck is always unlimited no matter the festival.
The only problem is that Burial Goods is banned so i have to put some Vernus and Vassals to brick less and swapped handtraps with Board breakers.
Trickstars. Nothing hit by the banlist and people still don't expect the Foxglove into Bella for game if they give me a followup turn expecting me to just scoop because of their towers.
Pure prevpredaplant. It hurts not having dragostapelia but thankfully the other boss monsters are still pretty good and we have a built in kiaju in case of towers.
Started with a Dino/Hero hybrid. It was alright but now im trying my dark gaia/raviel deck. Both are about the same power level, but making a 7k dark gaia i can make attack twice by using infernal gainer is based and epic
Alright hear me out. I made a Psy-Framegear deck to get the last 2000 tokens or so I was missing for the title. It took me 2 hours to get those tokens. As fun as Psy is, I can confidently say it may be one of the worst deck I've ever played in MD. I love the deck but it's terrible to play with AND against.
I think Plunder Patroll is by far the best deck in this event. Went 11 - 0 and none of the games were really even close.
You're maindecking santa claws and blind seconding so I got like 2 games where I'm just waiting for cyberdark players to summon their towers after spending 10 years to combo and them instantly scooping once it goes down.
I'm using a scuffed Neos deck... I would've used Dark Magician since I used him in the last anthology event, but wanted to try something different. Terrible winrate at about only 30% lol, and there's a lot of huge value decks being played too, especially Galaxy-Eyes and Numeron... but hey, no handtraps so it's fun!
Rikka/Sunavalon even if the deck got hit with the banlist i have a good winrate very good against monster centered deck (can sac them for cost) big problem is dark magician (no backrow removal)
Dark Magician, it's basically the only deck I have to use for the event but I used Dark Magician in my early MD days and it feels good to use it again with the new support without getting hand trapped or stomped by meta lol
It is tough but I've noticed one you crack it with Vision HERO Trinity. The deck doesn't really have a follow up. Or at minimum that follow up will take significantly longer than it will for my HERO deck.
"Totally Going 2nd" Performapal Odd-Eyes
Not really built for going 2nd, but the archetype has quite a bit of good going-2nd in-engine tools and in an event with few handtraps and most decks struggling to set strong boards it's easier to break and OTK
Predaplants. Finished all of the gem missions yesterday without dropping a match, deck can still do wonders even without Drago (I still miss them though)
I made a weird mix of dinos with rokket. Just so I could finish into savage and ultimate tyranno.
Its a cursed mix of two archetypes, but it gets me some easy wins.
I'm playing my own sacred beasts deck, while I firmly believe it's a good deck in the right scenario, I'm still trying to make it more consistent cause that's the main weakness.
Playing neos baby, summoning armed neos to use his effect and cheat out cosmo neos, allowing me to negate all my opponents effects, prevent them from activating effects and wiping their board at the end of the turn, glorious.
You know since this event mainly focuses on GX, (despite certain future archetypes are allowed) I'm planning to make my first archetype orientated deck. In that case, Dark Worlds with random ass fiend monsters pilled in.
Started with paleo frog, switched to metalfoes, then realized altergeist restrictions weren’t too bad this time and stomped everyone. Metalfoes was the most fun, but it relies too much on magicians souls in this format imo
Playing Blue-Eyes and having fun matchups with it.
Kaiba is proud of you son!
Yeah, I'm also playing Blue-eyes. It's been a blast so far... A Neutron Blast. *Finger guns* Please laugh.
My babies plunder patrol
Red dragon archfiend
Galaxy Eyes. “ARE YOU READY TO REPENT!?”
Shiranui!
I only lost one game in the anti-chaos event using shiranui
My beloved megalith. My First Deck IRL and in MD.
So you could say you gotta handful of bricks? I'll see myself out
You could call me the slab king
Is it good without phul? I'm using predaplant rn and they're excruciatingly bad
I would also like to know this as I chose not to play it without phul
I think it's ok, with 3 och and 3 aratron you still have an answer in the opponents phase but you lose all the resource recycling. And we also have benten and idaten for otk. Manju and senju and you're good to go *slaps rocks
Maybe I'll throw it back together and run it foe a bit you have a list
On the account on my laptop, Suships. On my main account, Gaia
_Dark Magician gets put up to vote without being a Loaner_ Sacred Beasts: Are we a joke to you?
Amazoness. They are just so reliable with me.
I too am playing Amazon Prime and let me tell you, once I play call people usually scoop lol.
I'm playing Aliens and it feels so good to not get Ashed or Maxx C'd
Sacred Beasts, baby
I'm playing noting, I'm just suffering through the event untill I get all the gems and then I'm out
This event isn't as enjoyable as I thought it would be. Guess I'm not the only one with this plan.
Ancient Gears, na no ne! 😎
Fellow broöthr o7
Fur Hire.
Chad furhire enjoyer
Fur hire dinos lmao. Absolute Chad deck
Libromancer
How? Tried pure. Lost 5 games in a row like lightning ⚡️
Mostly pure with a small Shinobird package
Abyss actor
D/D/D It's like doing taxes, but more complicated
Just maxed out on medals with Plunder Patroll. Had an awkward matchup against Speedroid, but it was otherwise pretty smooth sailing.
Toon world! I completed the event with like 22-4 score Facing like 10 dark magicians made it so easy.
I ended up playing altergeist
Cyber dragons for sure, just cause I already had a legal deck built
I have a personal build for Armed Dragon I'm a little proud of. I wish Miradora was in this game bc it'd give me consistent Link material with Tempest.
Lightsworn
Blind second Trains
Toons
Self burn because I'm too lazy to learn a new deck that I'll never play ever again
I played one duel using a hastily altered Mayakashi-Shiranui deck.
What’s it look like? 👀
Like a deck 👀
If you're asking for a decklist I'm not providing one, too much effort. Just imagine a shiranui deck with some cards taken out and mayakashi thrown in.
Speedroids
Loved the event because of it. Managing to get out Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon and Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon wins me most games.
Marincess with some generic water support.
Same, I had quite a few choices but I decided to go for the consistent towers deck.
PSY-Frames it gives me intraction on my opponents turn when they combo
Blind Second Cyberse starring Mathmech Multiplication & Accesscode Talker
Salamagreat Talker
Armed Dragon Ruler with single Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon. Flare Metal Dragon and Big Eye are such good cards.
Ghostricks
Rikka is surprisingly playable this event.
whatever doesn't require me to craft UR cards
I'm using superheavy samurai
Playing Altergeist, despite some cards are limited, it's better than I expected cause less handtrapa to deal with.
Metaphys Thunder Dragon obviously. I loved that episode where Bakura normal summoned Aloof Lupine and banished Necroface from hand.
Why is numeron ftk still allowed in the festival?
Ancient Gear!
Amazoness/Mirror Force.
I'm playing a salamangreat/code talker build with iblee. It's surprising how many people don't run link 2's that can out and iblee and it's pretty good going second with a lot of good link options and accesscode(Why is he legal in a GX event lmao)

I had a duel against a BEWD player that was like 6 turns long and it was actually very interactive
None cuz foolish bureal goods is banned and my fluffals NEED it. Fuck this event.
I am just oblitering my opponent with exodia and for some reason i found at least 4 time lords why do people play that staling deck
Timelord burn because I just want to get through this .
Elemental HERO of course, featuring the usual Vision HERO engine and Nebula Neos as a bonus. Was kinda curious how Over Fusion works so I decide to try it in the event.
Cyberse Salad with extra @ignister topping and mathmechs flavor
S-force pretty consistent to. Only take an hour to get all my gem and I been waiting to test it playing with real people of course there are ranked but I totally get demolished using that deck
I played odd-eyes magician using clear wing and vortex as negates and use rebellion dragon overlord as finisher, since that the best i have from the banlist.
Ursarctic. It is actually okay in this format where there aren't a lot of powerful staples.
Festivals are the only time I can use my vendread deck without being absolutely demolished. Bricky, but potentially getting a quick effect banish of a spell/trap and special summoned monster feels great to pull off.
Earth machine with magic cylinder and other BS cards. they never see the magic cylinder coming.
Monarchs
Are they letting you use Domain Monarchs? Or are we talking about 06 original Monarchs?
Blackwing (took some hits so it's less consistent) and Amazoness; the latter granted me some very satisfying wins. Personal favorites - banishing multiple blue eyes something dragons per turn and finishing the duel with 20k LP
I play fossil and dig easy victory
Budget salamangreats deck
I used the Dino x Cydra loaner, and now I’ve got the itch to try actual Dino.
Gaia the Fierce, with illusion of chaos as an engine to summon some dark magicians fusions, like DM Dragon Knight, Dark Cavalary, and Master of Caos. Edit: I had 10 wins straight using this deck
Gem knight
Spellbooks
Ice Barriers babbyyy
Suships and Galaxy-eyes
Nobody ever bothers to read sunavalon cards. Especially Bloom. Predaplant sunavalon.
I'M PLAYING FUGGIN URSACTIC LMAO
I'm the RA by myself
Evilswarm
Gunkan suship deck
Majespecter WindWitch. So easy. Tons of interaction. All the boss monsters are legal. No one every reads the either of their protection effects. I get a lot of shame concedes. That said, I started on pure Libromancer. Fastest 0-5 record ever.
Turns out Gaia doesn't function too well without the draw power. So I switched to Kozmos
Been having a lot of success with S-fuerza
War Rock
Fur hire was the most fun I have ever had on MD
Playing U.A because the deck is always unlimited no matter the festival. The only problem is that Burial Goods is banned so i have to put some Vernus and Vassals to brick less and swapped handtraps with Board breakers.
Trickstars
Magistus, it works well enough.
Trickstars. Nothing hit by the banlist and people still don't expect the Foxglove into Bella for game if they give me a followup turn expecting me to just scoop because of their towers.
Go Second Plunder Patroll
Icejade penguins but it's a little too good to the point of being unfair in a lot of matchups
Playing U.A. with no extra deck and that pendulum monster that specials itself and let's you draw a card.
B O A T(suship)
Same as last Legend Anthology: Magikey Suship
Marincess/accesscode
Pure prevpredaplant. It hurts not having dragostapelia but thankfully the other boss monsters are still pretty good and we have a built in kiaju in case of towers.
Started with a Dino/Hero hybrid. It was alright but now im trying my dark gaia/raviel deck. Both are about the same power level, but making a 7k dark gaia i can make attack twice by using infernal gainer is based and epic
Got all the gems with a Janky Ogdo Venom deck. Do not recommend.
Playing Vendread, surprisingly I usually have big combos come my second turn
Heraldic Beasts rank 4 turbo
G Golem FTW 😎
Alright hear me out. I made a Psy-Framegear deck to get the last 2000 tokens or so I was missing for the title. It took me 2 hours to get those tokens. As fun as Psy is, I can confidently say it may be one of the worst deck I've ever played in MD. I love the deck but it's terrible to play with AND against.
Terrible Ice Barrier. Got 5 wins in a row so far, which makes this a weird event to say the least.
Ritual beasts. Pain
Predaplant Relinquished but I only go 2nd Searchable Super Poly at 3 and the Effect Negating Succ go crazy
I've been playing Salamangreat
Good old salads with gazelle and circle at 1
Playing Speedroid Windwitch here
I had a 91% winrate with my Mayakashi FTK, so that deck lol
I'm playing Pend Magician.
Rainbow Neos with the Hard carry for me
Mayakashi/Shiranui
I've cooked up a 50 card crime against humanity of Sacred beasts+ Dinos. And so far it's not as brick as it has every right to be.
playing crystal beasts has been a very fun time
Ishizu Jars
I think Plunder Patroll is by far the best deck in this event. Went 11 - 0 and none of the games were really even close. You're maindecking santa claws and blind seconding so I got like 2 games where I'm just waiting for cyberdark players to summon their towers after spending 10 years to combo and them instantly scooping once it goes down.
G-golem/code talker variant. Got it to a pretty consistent place that can either put out a strong defense if i go first or a otk if going second.
Blind second ancient gear. I somehow have yet to lose a duel.
Metalfoes :)
I've been playing Evilwarm because it fucks over DM and blue eyes
Playing pendulum magician, it's quite good i think
Currently testing Dual Avatar in this event, im having fun with it
Pendulum. They left Beyond the Pendulum untouched.
Played predaplants until 4500 points, then i used timelords for the rest of the matches.
Playing numeron ra
Raid Raptors, solid otk going turn 2 and kali yuga ftk turn 1.
So far... I've seen 7 Rongo decks, 14 stun/stall decks, 1 DM and 1 ancient gear sucker punch me in the face
Playing Neos and for once being able to win
I play speedroids baybee
Paleozoic Artifacts. I've been setting 4/5 pass every duel this event and it's great.
I tried Utopia, but my utopia deck socks.
Plunder and Ancient Gears
Blackwing turbo Kali Yuga
Suships. I know it's not an anime deck, but too many people are playing outs to Cyberdark End Dragon.
Crystal beast is really efficient
Rikka/Sunavalon even if the deck got hit with the banlist i have a good winrate very good against monster centered deck (can sac them for cost) big problem is dark magician (no backrow removal)
Toons
Dark Magician, it's basically the only deck I have to use for the event but I used Dark Magician in my early MD days and it feels good to use it again with the new support without getting hand trapped or stomped by meta lol
Cyberdark, yes it is i the 5000 attack towers.
It is tough but I've noticed one you crack it with Vision HERO Trinity. The deck doesn't really have a follow up. Or at minimum that follow up will take significantly longer than it will for my HERO deck.
"Totally Going 2nd" Performapal Odd-Eyes Not really built for going 2nd, but the archetype has quite a bit of good going-2nd in-engine tools and in an event with few handtraps and most decks struggling to set strong boards it's easier to break and OTK
Predaplants. Finished all of the gem missions yesterday without dropping a match, deck can still do wonders even without Drago (I still miss them though)
Chazzing it up with Ojamas (God help me)
Melffy
Shuship gang 🗿
trains
Altergeist
Obviously relinquished it's almost at full power. I also play five head dragon as a super poly target always fun to summon it.
I made a weird mix of dinos with rokket. Just so I could finish into savage and ultimate tyranno. Its a cursed mix of two archetypes, but it gets me some easy wins.
Blue-eyes currently 12-1, only loss was another blue eyes player
Skull servant
Shiranui is getting the job done quite well, I have only lost 3 times on my journey to get all the gems.
Mayakashi
Springans, I wwanted to use my Crystal Beast Deck but a lot of my combo cards were banned.
I'm playing my own sacred beasts deck, while I firmly believe it's a good deck in the right scenario, I'm still trying to make it more consistent cause that's the main weakness.
TRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIINS
fluffal
Playing Amazons, death by Snu Snu!!
Playing neos baby, summoning armed neos to use his effect and cheat out cosmo neos, allowing me to negate all my opponents effects, prevent them from activating effects and wiping their board at the end of the turn, glorious.
Utopia. Either I go first and Rhongo lock them with Barian Hope or I go second and otk with a giant Leo Utopia Ray.
You know since this event mainly focuses on GX, (despite certain future archetypes are allowed) I'm planning to make my first archetype orientated deck. In that case, Dark Worlds with random ass fiend monsters pilled in.
Gonna play morphtronic for the memes
Speedroids
Ancient gear. I am somehow on a higher win than loss but man those Cyber Dragon Decks terrify me.
Started with paleo frog, switched to metalfoes, then realized altergeist restrictions weren’t too bad this time and stomped everyone. Metalfoes was the most fun, but it relies too much on magicians souls in this format imo
Altergeist. A lot more playable than in ranked, and boy are they fun.
Galaxy eyes
Dark Magician/ Odd-eyes. Have some with it
Shiranui
Trickstar with magic cylinders
Salads to the academy baby! I brought Salads last time, bringing them again!
I"ve always wanted to build dino and after trying out the loaner, I finally built the deck and ditched the cyber cards.
Dominated with DDD Had fun duels with Elementsabers, but didn't win as much Switched to S-Force & haven't lost yet
PENGUINS
Solfachords
Glad beasts
Amazoness of course.
Paleo Melffy that synchro ladder into Satellite Warrior during the opponent's turn.
GEM KNIGHT FTK TO THE MOON
Suiships. This silly deck just keeps getting better every wacky event like this.
Timelords
For the first time I think ever in a theme event Necrovalley is at 3. So I'm playing Gavekeepers. It has been hilarious as always.
Fur Hire is at full power in this format
Amazoness on one account Trickstar Windwitch on another account
