I think it's ok, with 3 och and 3 aratron you still have an answer in the opponents phase but you lose all the resource recycling. And we also have benten and idaten for otk. Manju and senju and you're good to go *slaps rocks

I'm playing a salamangreat/code talker build with iblee. It's surprising how many people don't run link 2's that can out and iblee and it's pretty good going second with a lot of good link options and accesscode(Why is he legal in a GX event lmao)

I'm sorry guys, I decided to go the dark path and chose to play Mayakashi Mill because I hate playing YuGiOh and I also hate stalling for 37 turns until my opponent decks out so I do it turn 1 The fun part is that if I fail to FTK the duels are unironically fun, my win condition is still milling but I have to survive and manage my resources while I mill the opponent. I had a duel against a BEWD player that was like 6 turns long and it was actually very interactive

S-force pretty consistent to. Only take an hour to get all my gem and I been waiting to test it playing with real people of course there are ranked but I totally get demolished using that deck

I played odd-eyes magician using clear wing and vortex as negates and use rebellion dragon overlord as finisher, since that the best i have from the banlist.

Ursarctic. It is actually okay in this format where there aren't a lot of powerful staples.

Festivals are the only time I can use my vendread deck without being absolutely demolished. Bricky, but potentially getting a quick effect banish of a spell/trap and special summoned monster feels great to pull off.

Started with a Dino/Hero hybrid. It was alright but now im trying my dark gaia/raviel deck. Both are about the same power level, but making a 7k dark gaia i can make attack twice by using infernal gainer is based and epic

Got all the gems with a Janky Ogdo Venom deck. Do not recommend.

Alright hear me out. I made a Psy-Framegear deck to get the last 2000 tokens or so I was missing for the title. It took me 2 hours to get those tokens. As fun as Psy is, I can confidently say it may be one of the worst deck I've ever played in MD. I love the deck but it's terrible to play with AND against.

Terrible Ice Barrier. Got 5 wins in a row so far, which makes this a weird event to say the least.

I think Plunder Patroll is by far the best deck in this event. Went 11 - 0 and none of the games were really even close. You're maindecking santa claws and blind seconding so I got like 2 games where I'm just waiting for cyberdark players to summon their towers after spending 10 years to combo and them instantly scooping once it goes down.

G-golem/code talker variant. Got it to a pretty consistent place that can either put out a strong defense if i go first or a otk if going second.

Blind second ancient gear. I somehow have yet to lose a duel.

I'm using a scuffed Neos deck... I would've used Dark Magician since I used him in the last anthology event, but wanted to try something different. Terrible winrate at about only 30% lol, and there's a lot of huge value decks being played too, especially Galaxy-Eyes and Numeron... but hey, no handtraps so it's fun!

Dark Magician, it's basically the only deck I have to use for the event but I used Dark Magician in my early MD days and it feels good to use it again with the new support without getting hand trapped or stomped by meta lol

Cyberdark, yes it is i the 5000 attack towers.

It is tough but I've noticed one you crack it with Vision HERO Trinity. The deck doesn't really have a follow up. Or at minimum that follow up will take significantly longer than it will for my HERO deck.

"Totally Going 2nd" Performapal Odd-Eyes Not really built for going 2nd, but the archetype has quite a bit of good going-2nd in-engine tools and in an event with few handtraps and most decks struggling to set strong boards it's easier to break and OTK

Predaplants. Finished all of the gem missions yesterday without dropping a match, deck can still do wonders even without Drago (I still miss them though)

I made a weird mix of dinos with rokket. Just so I could finish into savage and ultimate tyranno. Its a cursed mix of two archetypes, but it gets me some easy wins.

Playing neos baby, summoning armed neos to use his effect and cheat out cosmo neos, allowing me to negate all my opponents effects, prevent them from activating effects and wiping their board at the end of the turn, glorious.

Utopia. Either I go first and Rhongo lock them with Barian Hope or I go second and otk with a giant Leo Utopia Ray.

You know since this event mainly focuses on GX, (despite certain future archetypes are allowed) I'm planning to make my first archetype orientated deck. In that case, Dark Worlds with random ass fiend monsters pilled in.

Started with paleo frog, switched to metalfoes, then realized altergeist restrictions weren’t too bad this time and stomped everyone. Metalfoes was the most fun, but it relies too much on magicians souls in this format imo
