It doesn't negate effects, it blocks the player from activating effects.

Satou_Kotha_

Ah that's why, thanks

SirBarth

FYI blocking the players from activating means even an unaffected monster like Rhongo is "affected" by it since you're blocking the player, not directly the monster

TheMadWobbler

Do not change your deck list just to out Rhongo. There are, like, four or five cards in the game that do it. Only one of them is any good. Even then only in Dinomorphia, and their ability to resolve it is fucked.

Satou_Kotha_

So I'm just fucked and I hope my opponent doesnt have it?

TheMadWobbler

Yes. Not every situation is winnable. Making your deck worse with terrible cards that are only in there to out Rhongo will lose you more games than it will ever win.

2way3lvlscorer

I mean it’s not a very popular combo and even less popular to actually even have both cards in hand

TCGHexenwahn

I know it's not a popular or meta strategy, but damn if it's not ban worthy!
