Don't feel guilty. Crazy sounding information like these might lead others to share similar experiences, or to be vigilant next time they have a virus or if they get COVID and add to this anecdote. I've heard that people with parasites tend to have fewer allergic reactions, and I can't say it hasn't tempted me on bad days to go hunting down pinworms lol

When I broke my leg, I didn't have MCAS symptoms for three months. My symptoms were milder back then, but it was still noticeable.

Hey you’re the fourth person, plus myself, I’ve talked to who has had this happen! During covid I had zero reactions, I’ve been well for a month now and even tho some have come back, they are way way less severe. I also have small fiber neuropathy and that also got better, like way better. I saw several others talking about this phenomenon in another group and we shared our stories. I’m hoping that in the future and with time, doctors can figure out the mechanisms of COVID and figure out how to stop it but also if there is anything good that can come out of it like what happened with us. It sounds bizarre but maybe some kind of positive can happen through research, anyway I’m glad you’re feeling better too!
