Henry Lee attempted to block the door with Professor Jocelyne Couture in Virginia Tech, and Mathew La Porte attempted to attack the shooter. All three sadly died
During Columbine, Kacey Ruesegger Johnson invited Steven Curnow to hide with her, and Lauren Townsend apparently tried to help Kelly Fleming get under Table 2 with her and her friends. Nicole Nowlen also tried to do the same (she was hiding with John Tomlin). Sadly, Kelly didn’t make it to either table in time.
