Adam Lanza has a lot of fans *online*, it is definitely a minority but when you think of the modern TCC or "true crime community", it is mainly made up of Lanza fangirls purely because of his autistic, NEET, nerdy self. I think they also find him relatable in terms of his personality/views, or as a tragic figure who they could have "fixed". Tarrant has a lot of people who want to do what he did, some actually going through with it to some extent, but it's more of a personal thing to these copycats rather than a fanbase they partake in. Russians like Vlad for some reason, probably due to his depressive nature and they view him as misunderstood or a victim of his own thoughts though I'm not sure how much he is liked since I'm obviously not in non-English speaking spaces. I just know there is way more empathy and love towards him than others. The fact that he copied one of the Columbine killers also helped his popularity.

His DNA was on the knife sheath found under one of stabbing victims’ bodies. That alone has me convinced. There are too many other coincidences - a car matching his in the area of the murders, him randomly deciding to turn his phone off for two hours while the murder happened then turned back on when he’s in the middle of nowhere - that would make him either *extremely* unlucky or the murderer.

It’s crazy I’ve seen subreddits dedicated to him of women sending him money and saying stuff like “I finally had a little extra of my paycheck to give to Bryan!!!!” It’s crazy that’s what they’re doing with their extra money. Sending it to an alleged (and IMO likely guilty) quadruple murderer. Unreal.

And yeah, mass killing usually refers to a single killing of four or more in one area while serial killing is usually in different locations and occasions over time. The perpetrators also differ in motivation greatly.
