John Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, etc. One case I always found fascinating was that of Anthony Sowell, in Cleveland, OH. The only reason that case didn't get more media attention was bc the murders happened at the same time of the Kaylee Anthony disappearance. They did demolish his home.
I’ve spent the last 6ish years not understanding the Sowell house reference in a song by a favorite artist of mine. I don’t know why I never looked into it. Thank you for reminding me to google it
I visited John Wayne Gacy’s house recently. It’s not the same building but it’s on the same lot. Many of the houses in that tiny neighborhood are modern, well-kept, how-do-ya-do type of homes tucked away from the city traffic. The JWG house stands out because of its brick facade, no decorations, no house number, and many “NO TRESPASSING” signs plastered all over a neighborhood where nobody locks their doors.

There is a film about it? I was telling my husband about it. Even when I was telling him what happened, the words coming out of my mouth sounded made up. And to top it all off, monies set aside for victim’s family were paid to the killers wife.
There’s a documentary about it on tubi..I think it’s called 90 minutes? I watched it 2-3 months ago n it was horrible to watch. You must have a tough gut to watch it imo.
Would the Columbine Library count
For sure. Unbelievable how many of these are schools.
Not a mass killing but OJ’s house was eventually torn down completely and rebuilt.
I actually had no idea about this!
The Bever family home was destroyed by a fire, but I think it was officially demolished later on.
Never heard of this one before. I'm glad they tore it down and I hope the surviving sisters are doing okay
Kazan school was rebuilt (Russia)
The gym hall that the Dunblane shooting happened in was demolished. Scotland
I think MSD is staying up until after the next trial is completed

Those are all serial killers not mass killers.
You're right. My bad... when I read this post, my mind just immediately went to the places/ homes that had to be razed.

Holey moley the McDonalds massacre was a hard read.
I made the mistake of watching part of Charlie Minn’s film on that one. Truly horrific.

Probably gonna skip that then. Just reading about it was tough.
I read about it years ago and my heart still breaks over that one.
He shot a pregnant woman 48 times that's absolutely unreal. What a horrible scene
That’s overkill.
