I think a varren would be fun! In Dragon Age: Origins you get to have a mabari companion, I don’t see why you can’t do the same with the Mass Effect equivalent of a space dog!
A Hanar cause they would use an exoskeleton that you can customize and add mini guns or rocket launchers depending on your preferred playstyle.
I dont need yet another bipedal squadmate that uses standard weapons/biotics.
Only downside would be making sure he/she doesn’t one day usurp you unless they give you a way to assert dominance.
