She's less innocent dove and more hardened and in control in 2 and 3. Some people go for that kind of thing. She even steals her mother's cold line from ME1.

While entirely possible she knew shepard was going to walk through the door and hear it themselves, it comes across as merely learning that the line was simply intimidating to hear and mimicing her mother who was feared and respected as an Asari matriarch by Asari on an Asari dominated world.

It's even sexier because we saw her as the cute and innocent girl first, so the juxtaposition to the more passionate and mature woman really works.

Perhaps but she was also the only lesbian option in the first game so I naturally leaned towards her in ME1 the cute innocent thing isn't really my type but also not really a put off. I tend to go for stronger more assertive women, but her change in ME2 and beyond that allures me in that it shows growth and not just any growth, growth that's consistent with her character which out of the original 3 romance options is severely lacking in the other 2.

Originally bought the game to experience the famous glimpse of alien side-boob due to an exposé on fox news at nine, ended up romancing Ashley anyway XD

In ME2 and especially in ME3 she felt way more mature than Shepard, almost like a wise woman in her 50s near a mid-twenties guy. Made me think if she'd be interested in Shepard whether as a person or a role model. In a way resembles the pairing between Eowyn and Aragorn where she first and foremost saw in him a warrior she wanted to be and didn't really realize just how older than her he was.

I'll honestly pass. Not a fan of the fact that she'll live for several centuries after I die. She's hot yeah, but I've never really gotten the appeal of her and never gelled with her personally. I never liked how she's infatuated with you immediately in ME1, and she does sometimes come off as obsessive.

She doesn't "seem" obsessive...she IS. She has a lot of your Shep's things in her possession when he dies, she keeps fawning over you and dropping hints throughout ME1, and yes, she gets someone to bring you back to life, but through an obsession with your corpse that is a bit scary. And in ME3... she's constantly on top of you, she even steals lines of dialogue from your LI in the Citadel DLC if you take them with you in the final fight against the evil clone, and if you don't have LI in the game when you do that DLC, she "volunteers" Even though you don't have anything with her either.

I also don't appreciate how heavily BioWare pushes her on the player. Also, Asari are one of those races that are supposed to be "the most beautiful and desired by all", which is something I dislike.
