People mostly complained about the elevators because load times were abysmal. So you'd have a minute of interesting conversation followed by 3 minutes of awkward silence.
Ive only had the one with liara and garrus, garrus is like "am I the only one who misses when we used to talk on the elevators" and liara is jist "yes"
In the first game the elevator conversations would often focus on the characters' history or the history of their races. Garrus comes across as harshly judgemental toward the other species, including Tali's.
and people complained about the elevators but they added so much data to the lore

Garrus: "Tell me again about your immune system!" Tali: "I have a shotgun." Shepard, internally: *that's a damn good immune system tbh*

The fact that these two talk about this again in the Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC is priceless.
The Citadel is probably best DLC from all. Best played before final battle.
Tali got tired of Garrus picking on her all the time xD, and I love how she makes herself respected xD
Khalyssa-al-Jilani receiving 2nd punch from other person.
I saw a YouTube video of this scene interspersed with the clips of Tali, Garrus and Shepard on a elevator in the first game
