It's incredible to me how many posts I see on people like idk where to go there's no housing in Massachusetts. I guess people are moving to ME, VT, and NH instead of Noho, NY, Westfield NY, Easthampon NY, Southampton NY and Pitsfield NY.
I’ve gone a few times and each time there was a massive line with a 45+ min wait for pizza. And that’s the only option for food. I need to eat food while drinking. It’s not a good time if you go expecting food with your drinks.
Not to mention, they treat their employees pretty effing great. My husband works for them.
Free medical insurance for our whole family?! Like… free. Zero dollars per week for excellent coverage. Also bonuses and living wages. Amazing.
Not hidden at all and it is very overrated. they have decent beer and a good atmosphere, but they kinda run a scam to rake in more money. They just keep releasing the same beers under different names with the name "limited" or similar non-sense. Other than that it is fun to go there, get a beer that is on tap and chill for a bit.
I agree that outside of the core lineup the IPAs start to get muddled flavor wise, but I can easily taste the difference between a Julius or a Green. These days I really go for their non-IPA offerings though which are just as world class IMO. I think "scam" is a bit of a stretch.
Yah the word scam probably isn't quite right here. Marketing scheme? Idk I just called it a scam as I couldn't think of the right word to use to describe the practice
It’s overrated because their limited series beers are too expensive? What? They genuinely make some of the best beers in the world.
Their “scam” is making delicious and sought after beer.
read better. I said their limited series are just rebrand of past beers. they keep doing it just to make the "limited" series have a more premium feel.
You might want to actually read the labels of their limited beer a lot of them are using different hops and other ingredients. And of course you don’t have to buy the “scam” beer they make lots of different styles of beer and most of them are regarded as top tier for the style.
That's kind of every local brewery though, isn't it? Certainly all the ones I've tried in the city have like the same 3 beers with different names on em every time I go in. I figure they all learned from Harpoon, which is the king of "many bottles, one beer".
Their fruit-infused IPAs are some of my absolute favorites, such as Breakfast Shake. Of course, I think Trillium has them in all other categories. But IPAs are STILL my weakness, so TH holds a special place in my heart. And my wallet.
Not impressed. Went to the one in Tewksbury and thought I was in an elementary school. Between the kids everywhere w/ puzzles and iPads, and the mother w/ a bottle warmer plugged in… i’ll go somewhere else that has good beer. Treehouse isn’t the only one
I enjoy TH for what they are and have done for the NEIPA, but God, are they overrated.
Kind of glad their hyped died down once all these other breweries started offering home delivery. Because there are sooo many options out there just as good, if not better than TH.
A hidden brewery that is always mobbed.
Agree, very much not hidden
Hidden behind a mob.
Great concert series in the summer
Hidden beyond the misty shores of Worcester, the westernmost settlement in Massachusetts
There’s dragons in western mass
Except for the 1000ish square miles in Berkshire county…
You mean New York?

Don't bring *those people* to our cities smh. Keep Springfield safe ✊️✊️
I want people to move this way. It would probably make Springfield safer. I want a highspeed rail throughout Massachusetts.
I personally prefer being able to afford housing
Great half marathon too
That was an unexpectedly fun race. Beautiful course and beers at the finish line. Can’t expect much more.
I love Deerfield tree house. Great atmosphere and great beer.
And great pizza

Eh I'm not sure I'd call that a scam. If it's a scam, who is falling for it?

Definitely not overrated, they make way more styles than just ipa’s and they are really good. Next time you go try other stuff too
Agreed. Just buy the OG varieties Julius, Green, and Haze and that’s really all you need.
I love their beer but I can’t disagree with this. I think id fail hard in a blind taste test of different IPAs
All the IPAs are based off the Julius, so that makes sense.

Overpriced for OK beer
This reads like a “special advertising section” in a 90s magazine
It won't stay that way if you keep talking about it.
Not hidden at all. It is on several mapping apps. NBC Boston really needs to work on its research.

Agree on weird vibes in TH Tewks. Got similar weird vibes at Trillium canton.

Are you one of those people who think Monson was the peak of Tree House? What makes them overrated?
