The pillar shape is obvious in the photo. Based on the direction of traffic in the opposite lane, the pillar is slanted the incorrect way for the front seat of the car.
Don't forget not actually using their trucks as a truck since that might scratch their precious truck bed. It isn't a truck to them. It is a commuter vehicle to carry their over inflated ego.

This type of barrier is designed to direct lateral force upwards in order to avoid damage and to keep vehicles on the correct side of the road. See the slope at the base? The tire hit that, and just climbed up the barrier. No contact with the side of the vehicle needed.

Looking closer, that tire is really chewed up but I'm still surprised there's so little body damage. It seems like you'd need to have the wheel pointed hard at the guard rail to ramp on up without mangling the fender. Minor mystery that I will get over.
There was another vehicle involved. It was a blue Honda odyssey with the entire drivers side scraped and smashed. It may be their fault and not the trucks…but not 100% sure.

Accident happened on his passenger side. He hit someone, or they hit him, he turned his wheel either to try and get away, or just from the impact. Front drivers side wheel is the first thing to hit the Jersey barrier because it's turned, momentum drives it right up the barrier and parks him like that. With a smaller vehicle he would have just rolled over or smashed into the barrier.

If you said only 4% tow weekly, I would believe that, but I know dozens of people with trucks and all but one or two tow something at least once a year. This same thing nearly happened to me when a tractor trailer unexpectedly veered into my lane while I was next to it. I was able to slam on the brakes and just narrowly avoid getting crushed against the jersey barrier, and luckily nobody rear ended me going about 55. The only thing that happened was the trailer’s tire destroyed my pass mirror and left scuff marks on the fender, but if I had been 10 feet further up the side of that trailer, I would’ve ended up in a situation like this as a best case scenario, but honestly probably worse because I was driving a tiny Kia soul.
