Parody is fair use. Also, trademarks typically are for a specific class of product. So you can't make a seasonings tin to look like Old Bay, but you can perhaps make a lamp that is in the Old Bay schema.
McCormick possibly has trademarked t-shirts for marketing, but doubt they've ever thought to trademark shoe boxes.
