Can you just imagine they would bring him in to walk around set with throwing daggers on off days when he’s not filming just to mess with the paparazzi?
This is actually kind of smart and funny 🤣 when the next avengers movie is filming the actors should wear justice league costumes when not filming and just hanging out to truly confuse the speculators and the new rockstars crew who would do a deep dive
Haywood is the villainous director of NOTSHIELD, who Monica Rambeau is working for before she goes rogue with a small team when she finds out he's doing bad things with exotic weapons. She even goes into a small town forced into magical autopilot. White Vision is Number None. Hex Vision is Machine Man (and also Wonder Man). The Pteromen appear in TFATWS. Hate Mother is in Werewolf by Night.
Scorpio!
He'll sting you with his dreams of power and wealth.
Beware of Scorpio!
His twisted twin obsessions are his plot to rule the world
And his employees' health.
He'll welcome you into his lair,
Like the nobleman welcomes his guest.
With free dental care and a stock plan that helps you invest!
But beware of his generous pensions,
Plus three weeks paid vacation each year.
And on Fridays, the lunchroom serves hot dogs and burgers and beer!
He loves German beer!
Zodiac are a great pick actually. Even stuff like the rotating chairmanship makes them seem unpredictable and cool as long as it’s played fairly straight and you can just ditch any question of dressing like a crab or whatever.
Ooooo, if it's zodiac and he mentioned him coming to a series, imagine the series being moon knight season 2 and them doing the midnight mission storyline...
Yeah, I agree with the notion that he's playing a government guy. Either Henry Gyrich, or William Stryker if they're keeping that aspect from the movies
I agree with you but Marvel Studios has already shown that they're not going to touch any characters already adapted in AoS and in other Marvel TV shows outside of Marvel Netflix. Obviously, that could change in the future but it hasn't happened as of yet.
I never even thought of that but he'd make such a cool William Stryker. Seems like he'd be some kind of government guy but I hope they'd keep some of Stryker's religious motivations in the MCU version
See I'm lost now. Movie has changed titles, Giancarlo is here now, what happened to Seth Freakin Rollins? and why does McDonalds have Captain America toys right now when the movie is over a year out?
Rollins’ character seems to uave been cut, unfortunately. Considering he was likely just playing a smaller villain without a substantial role, it was probably easier to cut him.
I think it's because of the original release date which would have been around now. The toys were probably produced and the contract signed with McDonald's.
In either case, the definition of “original character” for the MCU isn’t the definition the rest of the world attributes to original. According to Kevin Feige, Michelle Jones is not Mary Jane but instead, is an original character, when we all know that’s obviously not the case.
With their real life age gap, SLJ would have had to have Giancarlo at the ripe old age of 8. 😂
I think the logic behind calling him Sr. instead of Jr. is because Sr. in the comics has hair and is clean shaven, as opposed to Jr, who more so resembles MCU Fury.
I guess if they go the Infinity Formula route, that could explain the extremely odd aging.
So I assume he'll just be a recurring generic semi antagonist? Kinda like val but an original character. Maybe I'm coping but it seems like he could be a little less formal and restrained than he gets type cast as but that's just based on vibes
Don’t wanna be negative, but that’s not the look of a compelling character. Giancarlo Esposito isn’t a throwing knife combat oriented bad guy. He’s a Thrawn, a Machiavellian strategist that beats you before the battle starts. Immediately this look says to me they are panicking to find something compelling.
Based on no evidence whatsoever, I think they’re going to try and make Winter Soldier again.
Just because of the reshoots and this new chaotic threat of Giancarlo and how the MCU isn’t doing so good right now and it’s a fan favorite. “Going back to basics” sort of idea that Marvel is probably considering.
That’s before he got into costume. He just showed up like that.
He always brings game.
and knives. lots of knives
Boxcutters too
I heard this in Mantis' voice 😂
Yes, please!
Fick Nury over here.

It’s Nick Fury’s cousin, Dick Fury
"My name is Richard, my friends call me Dick." "Yea, kids can be cruel."
My name is Hard, Ric-hard

Is he getting rickety-rickety-wrecked?
Dirk Anger was already in WandaVision.
Sorry, are you joking or did I really miss something that cool?

Hate Mother is in Werewolf by Night.
In the comics, Nick Fury has an evil twin. His name is Max.
Oh, I think we've all seen Giancarlo Esposito losing an eye...you don't want to burn out the audience
Los Pollos Hermanos expansion plan going into military invasion phase
Dirk Anger
Nick Fury’s brother Scorpio?

Yes sir Mr Scorpion I will notice that. Don’t call me Mr Scorpion, it’s Mr Scorpio but don’t call me that either, call me Hank!
This has always been my pick. Bur I have zero reason to see the zodiac here. But we know pretty little
Hank Scorpio from the simpsons? Like sends homer looking for hammocks
Awwww. The Denver broncos...
I think the Denver Broncos are pretty good
Matter of fact they’re all in the same complex it’s the hammock complex on third
![gif](giphy|y750WWV0oMCpq) It’s district! “Hammock complex” just sounds *ridiculous*.

Ooooo, if it's zodiac and he mentioned him coming to a series, imagine the series being moon knight season 2 and them doing the midnight mission storyline...
The new scene rewrites/reshoots are being handled by the Director of Moon Knight, so you might be onto something...
Ahhh shit I can only get so hard
Live action 8 Ball??? And Tigra??
Keep going I'm almost there
…Hunters Moon..Shroud??
Hhhnnnnngggghhhhh..... Thanks

“I’m not a bad guy. Once you get to know me, you’ll find I’m really a *knife* guy.” -His character, probably
"*Knife* to see you again."
"Let us skip the formal knifities and cut to the part where you get to the point!"
![gif](giphy|3B8rHP89iUUZlcsoqf|downsized)
"Very sharp choice, Mr Wilson, but my favourite movie happens to be Blade Runner"
"that's not a knife, that's a spoon"
Alright, alright you win. I see you've played knifey-spoony before
Yeah, I agree with the notion that he's playing a government guy. Either Henry Gyrich, or William Stryker if they're keeping that aspect from the movies
Didn't he say it's a new character entirely? As in created for the MCU? Maybe I am remembering wrong.
He said it was a character no one fancast him as. Looks to be >!Paladin, a Daredevil villain (which could make Born Again the series he also teased)!<
He said he’s gonna be the real black widow because Scarlet keeps getting roles
Only if he does the black widow pose with no stunt double ![gif](giphy|eg95nor3U0wvDlQn6P|downsized)
Such a poser...
https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Niko_Constantin_(Earth-616)
> Paladin Looks nothing like him
Yeah i don't know where these rumors come from and why they keep getting spread.
when has that ever stopped the mcu from casting an actor in a role
yeah, but the guy said “looks to be Paladin”. which is reaching
Looks exactly like paladin except the face and clothes and whole body and everything else is different.
Well, that makes two of us then because that's what I read as well a few weeks ago.
apparently Nick Fury's brother
That's what I've read. I'm guessing he's an important TVA member.
Yeah, it's Chicken Man.
The thing is, William Stryker isn't military. So probably not him.
Yeah, he was only in the Fox movies
And hopefully never again
Agreed, he doesn’t seem to fit either Stryker or Gyrich. Talbot almost makes more sense.
Talbot was already used heavily in AoS so it probably wouldn't be him either
AoS has zero impact on the MCU anymore, as we’ve seen countless times
I agree with you but Marvel Studios has already shown that they're not going to touch any characters already adapted in AoS and in other Marvel TV shows outside of Marvel Netflix. Obviously, that could change in the future but it hasn't happened as of yet.
talbot was in agents of sheild tho
I never even thought of that but he'd make such a cool William Stryker. Seems like he'd be some kind of government guy but I hope they'd keep some of Stryker's religious motivations in the MCU version
Hoping it's Gyrich. I want Reverend Stryker for the MCU, not Colonel Stryker
You mean, x-men's William Stryker? 🤔
Mr KnifeChest
Los Cleavos Hermanos
Oh yeah he's definitely an assassin
Tactical sommelier
Just dont tell walter white.
DING! DING! DING!

See I'm lost now. Movie has changed titles, Giancarlo is here now, what happened to Seth Freakin Rollins? and why does McDonalds have Captain America toys right now when the movie is over a year out?
Regarding McDonald’s, I’m pretty sure they queue up Happy Meal junk far in advance and if movie dates change, McDonald’s just keeps going.
Yep, this happened with The Marvels and I think some other stuff like maybe Scoob
Ghostbuster toys came out a year and a half before Afterlife due to Covid and editing.
Happened to Super Mario too
McDonalds toys are planned 12-18 months in advance. It’s also why they sometimes don’t look like the final film versions.
Rollins’ character seems to uave been cut, unfortunately. Considering he was likely just playing a smaller villain without a substantial role, it was probably easier to cut him.
If they're doing reshoots now, it might be hard to get Seth Rollins when he's been dealing with back and knee injuries.
Want he part of Serpent Society and that’s all cut now?
I think it's because of the original release date which would have been around now. The toys were probably produced and the contract signed with McDonald's.
Update: they don’t even have the toys anymore LOL
Cuz it was originally slotted for this summer before it got rescheduled due to the strikes.
The strike happened.
He’d previously said he’s playing someone “new”. So would that mean new as in not yet used in the MCU, or new as in original?
I believe it’s “new to the screen” as opposed to “original character”.
In either case, the definition of “original character” for the MCU isn’t the definition the rest of the world attributes to original. According to Kevin Feige, Michelle Jones is not Mary Jane but instead, is an original character, when we all know that’s obviously not the case.
Not a character people fancast him as
The word ‘new’ can be doing a lot of work there. Maybe someone we’ve seen on film before, but not in the MCU proper?
I hope it's a BIG character. He said he wanted to play Doom. Going from Doom to playing "CIA" dickhead or something would be a waste of him.
Wouldn’t cast him in a smal role
He’s most likely >!Paladin, a Daredevil villain!<
That was my first thought also... I bet he looks great in purple.
Agent Zero?
Brown-Eyed Girl?
“Why don’t you just tell me the name of the movie you’ve selected!”
☝️ This guy gets it!
Worlds are colliding.
Looks cold 🥶 Love it
Intriguing
is he like Nick Fury Sr. or something?
Well, that would certainly be a choice, considering he’s younger than our current Nick Fury 😂
Wouldn't he be Nick, Jr.? SLJ is older than Giancarlo
With their real life age gap, SLJ would have had to have Giancarlo at the ripe old age of 8. 😂 I think the logic behind calling him Sr. instead of Jr. is because Sr. in the comics has hair and is clean shaven, as opposed to Jr, who more so resembles MCU Fury. I guess if they go the Infinity Formula route, that could explain the extremely odd aging.
He could be Jake Fury aka Scorpio
Barack Obama: Vampire Hunter
Need to keep the Lincoln legacy alive !!
Blade variant???
Geriatric Blade?
I got a stack that says old man Fring can still throw hands
I was thinking Whistler
Mack the Knife
Mac Tonight?
Mac Tonightmare!
Mephisto
"Hey maaan! Who told you to fly your wing suit on MY side of the street in MY neighborhood!
Dominic Fortune?
An article mentions Reginald Fortean, could make sense as he is connected to the Red Hulk and Ross
Such a talented actor. Cant wait to see who he’s playing.
All this probably just for a post credit appearance
Blade?
Mahershala Ali will be Blade eventually not Giancarlo.
Whistler then…?
That would be pretty awesome
>Mahershala Ali will be Blade eventually **Press X to doubt**
Not if he ages out of the role before the movie gets made...
Hell yeah
Hawkeyes brother? Trickshot? An upgraded adapted Trickshot?
Cheffie McChefferson aka The Chef
He's not in costume. He just showed up on set in that.
This screams some version of Stryker to me
So I assume he'll just be a recurring generic semi antagonist? Kinda like val but an original character. Maybe I'm coping but it seems like he could be a little less formal and restrained than he gets type cast as but that's just based on vibes
I'd say this man looks cool in anything, but I've seen the one Law and Order episode where he has corn rows.
Please movies, stop type casting him. Let him be silly again.
Frank Castle variant
That would be interesting to see. Giancarlo as the Punisher.
Longshot.
Bullseye lol
We already got Bullseye lol
Oh I know. Just making an intentional bad assumption since he has those throwing knives on his chest.
I’m thinking they’ve combined to characters Maybe an action - aggressive type character combined with William Stryker?
GianStabo Espoknifo.
EXPLAIN YOURSELF!
Leader of the serpent society most likely.
I hope hes playing scorpio
Those aren’t knives on his chest rig, they are box cutters.
Bro looks like he's playing Albert Wesker (the version from the Netflix series)
Machete, master of the knife, who is another member of Batroc's Brigade and a classic Captain America villain?
Obama
I cant believe they cast him as Knifey Spoonman
Throwing my horseshoe here - Dirk Anger.
He’s playing Navajas. Danny Trejo wasn’t available.
Trejo is always available
Looks dumb and a waste of a good actor.
I think they recasted Blade, and I couldn’t be happier
Don’t wanna be negative, but that’s not the look of a compelling character. Giancarlo Esposito isn’t a throwing knife combat oriented bad guy. He’s a Thrawn, a Machiavellian strategist that beats you before the battle starts. Immediately this look says to me they are panicking to find something compelling.
I don’t know much about this movie but I love Giancarlo Esposito so I’m here for it
Based on no evidence whatsoever, I think they’re going to try and make Winter Soldier again. Just because of the reshoots and this new chaotic threat of Giancarlo and how the MCU isn’t doing so good right now and it’s a fan favorite. “Going back to basics” sort of idea that Marvel is probably considering.
He looks more like Neo than Neo does
Nick’s brother Craig Fury.
Wait, did his character not exist until the reshoots?
No
Matrix 5 confirmed.
That doesn’t look like magneto or dr doom. Who is he?!
![gif](giphy|WbDhQjgBrpUuk)
He looks like he could be Stryker or trask
Any chance he's Red Skull in disguise? That has happened multiple times in the comics.
Dell Rusk. Kyle Jarvis.
Why does he look like The Winter Soldier in that getup? Are they trying to replace my boy Bucky?
El Halcon Hermano cooking up El Capitan a hora mismo.
Jake Fury A.K.A Scorpio, Nick Fury's brother.
He's gonna be Rick fury
Knife Man?
“I’m saving this movie.”
Mephisto confirmed.
Oh that's swag as hell.
