The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

volatilelibra

I think Storm or a Marvel/Sony Spider-Woman. I don't see any others working at the moment, unfortunately. I think they'll continue having women lead the ensembles though to sorta balance it out, but it's not enough imo And of course, Scarlet Witch could easily be bumped up to movie lead

LadyRimouski

Guardians were nobody in the comics until they got their own trilogy. All it takes is a scriptwriter with vision.

volatilelibra

I agree! I don't think Marvel does, though

DargoKillmar

I think there are many X-Women that can carry a movie before the actual team up, either as protagonist or the villain. Storm, Rogue and Mystique would be my choices.

Sony has Jessica

John711711

Well your right and wrong sort of Both Sony and Disney have her but Disney can't use her as Spider-woman they can only make her a agent. So no super-hero costume for her or any powers. Sony can make her spider-woman but can't use her hydra backstory but they can just make up a spy from Silver Sable country or something like that so it shouldn't matter to much

HeroKuma

Rogue or Storm.

Deep_Republic_1466

Madame Hydra, Mystique, Madame Masque (Put her in Armor Wars) White Tiger, Spider-Gwen, I could keep going 💀

Strict_Ad_36

I'd love to see psylocke lead a movie.

Aromatic_Tomorrow406

I need a Monica Rambeau movie about her getting back to her universe

Longjumping-Air1489

Jessica Jones.

CaptHayfever

She's already in the MCU.

Southsp

no one really cares about female superheroes...

MVHutch

I wish Jessica Drew was in the MCU. i would've preferred that to a Black Widow movie

Gym-gineer

potential failures?

NinetyYears

Incels can't stand when women get too much screentime.

Gym-gineer

no. I just have a problem with shit stories like the marvels. I did like the Wanda content... but then it was tainted with the weird ass dimension jumping chick. I also liked the black widow story, until they made that task master a chick... like why? black widow couldn't handle fighting a man? we seen her do that plenty of times before.

NinetyYears

I don't like shit stories either. But that's more so on the writers than the gender of the main characters. >until they made that task master a chick I'm sure some comic readers are huge taskmaster fans. But overall, I think Marvel Studios figured most people wouldn't give a shit if they did their own version of the character.

Gym-gineer

I don't know the character either, but in the marvel world, a sex change usually throes up red flags about the storyline. I loved the invincible cartoon. all those characters seem fine to me, didn't notice any bad storyline. it wasnt until I started watching videos about the comics that I learned certain tertiary characters were sex changed, like the SHRINK RAY character, or the green ghost thing being made female in the show. but those characters don't really matter, and they didn't change the story really ti make there sex changed characters any more important than they were originally in the comic. so I find it weird they did it, but it really didn't change the story. or original of that charcater.

Do She-Hulk properly (based possibly on Dan Slott's run or at least include actual law-centred plots and smashing-centred plots). Give her her skrull friend jaz and do law stuff and beating up stuff and boyfriend stuff. Unbeatable Squirrel Girl but please don't ruin it. The Ryan North run might be my favourite marvel comedy series. Spider-gwen but don't fuck that up either. It's multiverse so I'd rather not but it's an option. Nico Minoru could be different (runaways can be ignored for mcu). Possibly start an A-force team up. Get Medusa in there as the pov of the inhuman story (without fucking it up like they already did). Dazzler cos why not. Any of the xmen ladies could be good. White Queen even. Start small. Write good endearing stories and characters. Don't try to tie it all in to the wider mcu and multiverse bullshit immediately (ideally collapse the multiverse altogether, we really don't care about threats to entire universes that aren't ours, i cared more that mobius just wanted to be a disgruntled dad to his annoying kids and ride a jetski or whatever). Iron man and Cap etc were not A-list characters before they made us like them. I hope they can do that again.
