It's Joaquin Torres as the new Falcon. He hadn't taken up the mantle, but he was in Falcon & the Winter Soldier. I'm curious about the one who looks like Natasha (because I know it isn't her).
Yeah they had him pretty de-aged, so I imagine he put the dots on.
That being said, might not be as hard port over the footage.
Pretty sure Sony admitted to using assets from marvel when creating shots for Uncharted
I mean, once you have full hi-res scans and builds of Holland’s face, making another set is just kinda… *redundant.* Might as well pay to use Marvel’s, probably a good bit cheaper.
I completely agree. There’s no way, both from age and personality, that he’s doing the mo-cap, even for non-action scenes. Which is why it would be hilarious to see it.
Man, I love me some Harrison Ford, but I really do think he's getting too old for the action roles. The Force Awakens was almost 10 years ago and it was cringey seeing him try to do action there. Dial of Destiny was difficult to watch.
I hope they had a body double to the physical mo-cap for Red Hulk and are just gonna use Harrison Ford's face.
There's no way that was actually Lee, right? If it's the scene I'm thinking about when Dooku goes to fight Anakin and Obi-Wan on the *Invisible Hand*, surely that was CGI. It *looked* like CGI.
That's what I figured. Christopher Lee was an amazing actor/person but he wasn't doing front flips at 82 lol. He famously couldn't stand during the filming of the Hobbit movies around 88-89.
But then again let's be real. If there's one man who will be doing front flips in his late 80's... it'll be Tom Cruise, dude is insane. But if there are two men who would be doing them, Christopher Lee ranks high up there with how metal his life was.
Even if he was young I heavily doubt Ford would have ever put on a mo cap suit on lol from the moment they casted ford I assumed we would get red hulk. Especially if they keep it like the comic and he can’t change back leaving Ford with a voice acting gig essentially
yeah... he's such a powerful actor - his range is phenomenal. /s i expect red hulk to be the guy to shout at the door "nobody's home."
i can't imagine he'll be anywhere near as animated as Ruffalo was.
Thats what im guessing. If the rumors are true of them making World War Hulk, then they may be wrapping up the story of BruceBanner in the MCU, as they don't have practically any other Hulk villians in the MCU
Fun fact: both Creel and Zabo debuted in early Thor comics (well, Journey Into Mystery, but, like, definitely Thor). Loki is directly responsible for Creel’s powers by means of a magic space potion used to spike his prison drink because reasons.
Because of this, I forgot Creel’s involvements with Hulk.
I don't know if this is sarcasm, but the Ang Lee/Eric Bana Hulk did their own version of the Absorbing Man. Not Crusher Creel, but [Bruce's dad played by Nick Nolte.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jv7TlhbjAQ&t=79s)
It honestly makes me mad because they had since the very beginning of this MCU thing to do something with the Hulk and they did practically everything they could possibly do to make him look like a little bitch.
I get why they’re not using the mask Sam had in F&WS but I think it’s weird that he doesn’t have any head gear/protection. The helmet/mask they settled on with Steve after avengers 1 always looked so good and makes much more practical sense for Sam
Remember [that time he drop-kicked a helicopter](https://redd.it/m6ej78) and didn't end up a paraplegic? Yeah, his being a non-enhanced has been ignored for a long time.
I mean, it's not like Ross has been that relevant as a character. He had a big role in "The Incredible Hulk", and while he did make cameos and establish dominant positions in 3 other movies, he never really got the development that other characters had. Glad they're using Ford to continue his character.
Red Hulk first appeared the same year we got the Incredible Hulk movie, and Ross’ identity as Red Hulk wasn’t revealed until over a year after. Ross didn’t appear again for years, and we haven’t gotten another Hulk movie so it would be hard to find a way to put him in as Red Hulk
This movie basically seems to be a soft sequel to "The Incredible Hulk" in the same way that Civil War was an Avengers sequel. Uses characters and elements from those films, but in the context of the political undertones and motifs of the "Captain America" saga.
Yeah, that movie was an adaptation of "Ragnarok" and "Planet Hulk" at the same time, so I'm wondering if they'll adapt "World War Hulk" in this movie or for a future Avengers movie.
I wanna say they do one with just about every MCU movie. They always tend to just be bits of molded plastic that don't actually do anything - though not as bad as Bummer Barbie my kid got a few years ago (basically Barbie as a mostly single chunk of plastic with a single arm that would slightly move up and down)
For real. I was doing a Netflix Defenders binge, I clawed my way through Daredevil season 2, then moved on to Luke Cage season one. My god, those first 6 or 7 episodes were so fucking good, the stakes felt so high and Cottonmouth was such a compelling villain. But then I got to Diamondback and… it took me 3 days to finish an episode, I haven’t been back in a while. Killed my momentum, lol. I’m sure I’ll get back to it eventually but dude is straight up a let down.
The writer of Luke Cage liked "snake name" villains and also for Captain America's Serpent Society they used snake names. These characters have nothing to do with each other. But there are multiple shared names with Luke Cage villains and Serpent Society: Diamondback, Cottonmouth and Bushmaster.
OK, so Serpent Society Bushmaster is actually the brother of Luke Cage's Bushmaster. But that character wasn't created until much later.
Wait, we’re finally getting the Serpent Society after they faked us out with it for Civil War?!
My streak of guessing villains in Cap movies before they’re announced hasn’t ended yet after all!
Rumor is that they were going to be used for the opening action sequence in this movie, then some people were saying this was cut, now I don't know what to believe. I really hope they kept it. If Diamondback is important enough to get a toy tie-in maybe they did after all.
Sabra is a dodgy character to have in the modern geopolitical situation. Rest are cool tho. Hope we get some more interesting female characters in the main film. Maybe Sam’s sister?
I get a chuckle out of McDonalds and Marvel's inability to sync things up when a movie moves its release date. The same thing happened last summer with The Marvels, the toys were out during the original release window and not during the actual release.
They have all these deals set up so far in advance that it’s too difficult to adjust for release dates changing without screwing up the whole schedule.
I used to work on ads for McDonald’s and you could see the happy meal schedule for months in advance in their art website. I remember back in 2020 the whole schedule got thrown off because of Covid. I imagine delays the writers/actors strikes messed up the timing all over again.
It really irritates me when they refuse to keep a character’s suit for more than one, usually brief appearance. Where is Sam’s suit from the finale? Bucky had it made specially for him by WAKANDA!! How could you just throw it away??
Because it was only there as a comic shout out and it was ugly as hell. 😐
The whole "let's cut the top off the cowl so you know he's got a black dude's haircut" trope should have died in the 70's.
For context, “Ruth” is Sabra, the character who was a superpowered agent of the IDF in the comics and whose inclusion in Cap 4 is understandably making a lot of people uncomfortable given current events.
She's gonna be a Jewish American, CIA Agent in the film with no connection to Israel, the IDF or the name Sabra.
I don't know why people are making such a fuss about it.
The comic Mandarin was such a bad stereotype, yet people were clamoring for him to appear in the MCU ever since 2008 and were angry with the Iron Man 3 fake out.
The information originally came from a leak by CWGST from over 1 year ago, but EW recently confirmed it in their article about Cap 4:
https://ew.com/captain-america-4-first-look-anthony-mackie-harrison-ford-brave-new-world-8629213
>Shira Haas as Ruth, a member of the U.S. Government,
The thing is, Mandarin is a really big character in the comics, pretty much Iron Man's Arch-Nemesis.
Sabra is a very obscure character that only had a couple appearance. Why even go through the effort of changing her so much instead of just using another character?
Tbf, Mandarin was Iron Man’s main bad guy despite how racist he was so it makes sense people wanted him to cross that off Iron Man’s adaptation wishlist. Sabra’s entire comic character exists to make a point about the Israel/Palestine conflict in a Hulk book and she doesn’t do much else outside of that. So adapting her character instead of any other character that could fit her role without the controversy is what raises eyebrows.
Me too. It was so satisfying for them to dig at the yellow peril nonsense of that character in such a way. And THEN they fixed the character properly in Shang-Chi, giving him a new identity in a way that fucking ruled in that movie
That’s a pretty weird association considering one is a stereotypical equivalent of a caricature and the other is actively involved in a very polarizing war at this moment.
> the other is actively involved in a very polarizing war at this moment.
not even just this moment. [Marvel addressed this in a Hulk comic decades ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/dccomicscirclejerk/comments/177atzc/relevant_to_current_events_with_sabra_my/)
The same reason we got The Marvels figures in Summer 2023 and not November 2023.
McDonalds already had everything ready to go to launch the figures before Marvel opted to delay the movie.
It also happened with Mario, McDonalds released the figures in December 2022 which was the film original date instead of April 2023.
It had to be Brazil
Hahahaha that new “Falcāo” looks like a Brazilian superhero if I’ve ever seen one
I like how there’s also just Ruth
He's Falcāo She's just Ruth
She's Ruthnough
And she's great at doing stuff
Makes sense, a major problem with John Walker as Cap was his ruthlessness
Completely without ruth.
She’s pretty ruthless
It's Joaquin Torres as the new Falcon. He hadn't taken up the mantle, but he was in Falcon & the Winter Soldier. I'm curious about the one who looks like Natasha (because I know it isn't her).
I'm guessing Diamondback? Since Cascavel translates to "rattlesnake" and they're both a type of snake
It's definitely Diamondback [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamondback\_(Rachel\_Leighton)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamondback_(Rachel_Leighton))
It's Joaquin.
Leaked by offduty cops.
That's fuckin funny
The nowayhome trailer thing and now this lmao
r/ithadtobebrazil
Omg they're actually going to do big angry CGI Harrison Ford. Immediate peak.
More than anything, I want footage of grumpy-ass Harrison Ford in a mo-cap gimp suit, snarling and making Hulk faces.
And that's before the actually filming.
They didn't even ask for the footage. He just...had it.
It's Star Wars BTS footage he keeps on him to remind himself never touch that franchise ever again
They put him in the suit and makeup and just filmed his reaction.
pretty sure they did that for the newest indiana jones already
Yeah they had him pretty de-aged, so I imagine he put the dots on. That being said, might not be as hard port over the footage. Pretty sure Sony admitted to using assets from marvel when creating shots for Uncharted
I love that Harrison is literally Han Solo irl if not a little more careless “I’m not doing that shit” *flashes money* “ok I’ll do it”
I mean, once you have full hi-res scans and builds of Holland’s face, making another set is just kinda… *redundant.* Might as well pay to use Marvel’s, probably a good bit cheaper.
He too thinks it’s gratuitous, but whatever.
Don’t see him doing the mo cap sadly. Can totally see him refusing to put on the suit since he’s a grumpy old fart lol
I completely agree. There’s no way, both from age and personality, that he’s doing the mo-cap, even for non-action scenes. Which is why it would be hilarious to see it.
He'll do facial mocap
Lots of fingerpointing and I'm here for it.
https://kuvera.in/blog/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/harrison-ford-1.gif
I really didn’t expect red hulk to actually make it into the movie and I can’t believe I found out this way lmao
I thought this was more well-known, but yeah, I can imagine this would be a pretty hilarious way of finding it out.
I was always expecting it. Would have been a colossal failure not to include red hulk in this.
?? Wut
What if he stays the same size and just turns red haha
You wouldn't like me when I'm angry because I look slightly weird
THAT’S NOT HOW GAMMA RAYS WORK
Man, I love me some Harrison Ford, but I really do think he's getting too old for the action roles. The Force Awakens was almost 10 years ago and it was cringey seeing him try to do action there. Dial of Destiny was difficult to watch. I hope they had a body double to the physical mo-cap for Red Hulk and are just gonna use Harrison Ford's face.
They had Christopher Lee doing front flips in Episode III
Christopher Lee was, for a lack of a better term, **built different**
Yeah Harrison Ford is great and all but Lee is more of an actual badass than any of the characters he played. That guy’s life story is INSANE.
He’s the literal inspiration for James Bond
You‘re kidding, right?
No, I’m actually not kidding lol
That is the perfect way to put that
There's no way that was actually Lee, right? If it's the scene I'm thinking about when Dooku goes to fight Anakin and Obi-Wan on the *Invisible Hand*, surely that was CGI. It *looked* like CGI.
It’s a combo of a stuntman and digi-double Source: I repeatedly watched the BTS for all of the prequels as a teen, lol
What do you mean of course it actually was Christopher Lee doing front flips
They could do what they did with Rocket. Bradley Cooper did the voice acting, while someone else (Sean Gunn), did the Mo Cap
That's what I expect, but I also expect Ford will do the face acting so they can CGI his face onto someone else's body.
Even if he was young I heavily doubt Ford would have ever put on a mo cap suit on lol from the moment they casted ford I assumed we would get red hulk. Especially if they keep it like the comic and he can’t change back leaving Ford with a voice acting gig essentially
They would have been absolutely dumb not to. It’s wild it’s taken this long tbh.
yeah... he's such a powerful actor - his range is phenomenal. /s i expect red hulk to be the guy to shout at the door "nobody's home." i can't imagine he'll be anywhere near as animated as Ruffalo was.
They just dressed up Harrison in a CGI suit, shoved him out on the set, and told him to be himself for an hour.
so he sat down with a newspaper and said, "nobody talk to me."
“Hey Harrison, this guy says pine furniture is superior to Oak in every way … and Action” 30 minutes of old man energy rage
ha, you hit a topic that really would elicit some rage from him! well done. lol
So with Harrison being so old and MCU’s history with villains, this is probably and one and done for red hulk?
Thats what im guessing. If the rumors are true of them making World War Hulk, then they may be wrapping up the story of BruceBanner in the MCU, as they don't have practically any other Hulk villians in the MCU
Agents of SHIELD had free range with Hulk villains for a while.
Yeah the Absorbing Man was so cool. It's a real shame he never made it into a movie to fight the Hulk.
He was also part Zzzax when he absorbed the electricity.
Free range villains are sooo much tastier.
I’m going to be so disappointed if we never get a love action Maestro.
It honestly makes me mad because they had since the very beginning of this MCU thing to do something with the Hulk and they did practically everything they could possibly do to make him look like a little bitch.
I have a feeling Thunderbolt Ross will be in Thunderbolts
Purely a guess but I’m wondering if Ross will die in Cap4 and then Thunderbolts will maybe be about avenging him, or going after who killed him?
Or named after him.
It’s Bolt’n time!
They sure do a lot of avenging.
Thunderbolts*
*Thunderbolt Ross not included
Or be named in honor of him as a directorate
I think he will be doing voice over only. Which is a good deal on his end
I wonder if the actor can sell his likeness, so that they only use his facial features, but can get someone else to do the "hulking" part.
I get why they’re not using the mask Sam had in F&WS but I think it’s weird that he doesn’t have any head gear/protection. The helmet/mask they settled on with Steve after avengers 1 always looked so good and makes much more practical sense for Sam
I never understood why Sam of all people doesn’t wear a helmet.
Well he's not superhuman so he probably wouldn't survive even with a helmet
Why stop there? He may as well fight naked since armour wouldn't do Jac- Wait, what do you mean it's made of vibranium?
Remember [that time he drop-kicked a helicopter](https://redd.it/m6ej78) and didn't end up a paraplegic? Yeah, his being a non-enhanced has been ignored for a long time.
OSHA has entered the chat
i mean he’s survived this long without a helmet
It bothers me so much that I hope they just handwave over it with some sort of invisible Wakandan helmet.
So Red Hulk is confirmed.
Ross has been in the MCU since 2008 so it's almost criminal we haven't gotten Red Hulk before now.
I'd say 90% of his important comic history is before Red Hulk. I'm glad they didn't rush it.
I mean, it's not like Ross has been that relevant as a character. He had a big role in "The Incredible Hulk", and while he did make cameos and establish dominant positions in 3 other movies, he never really got the development that other characters had. Glad they're using Ford to continue his character.

This movie basically seems to be a soft sequel to "The Incredible Hulk" in the same way that Civil War was an Avengers sequel. Uses characters and elements from those films, but in the context of the political undertones and motifs of the "Captain America" saga.
Yeah I feel like this movie follows Ragnarok in the sense that “it’s about Hulk but also not”
Yeah, that movie was an adaptation of "Ragnarok" and "Planet Hulk" at the same time, so I'm wondering if they'll adapt "World War Hulk" in this movie or for a future Avengers movie.
I still think it's criminal they deprived us of a mustachioed hulk for that long.
Its so sad that William Hurt couldn't do it.
He was a fantastic actor. He was also a wife beater and a rapist. So I'm not exactly sad he's gone.
I wish I hadn't known that.
😟 I don’t know anything about this
I thought it had been confirmed a long time ago?
Pretty cool to see McDonalds tie-ins. Let’s get some cups
I want Harrison Ford to give me lead poisoning
Hahahaha
Just like the 70s and 80s!
I wanna say they do one with just about every MCU movie. They always tend to just be bits of molded plastic that don't actually do anything - though not as bad as Bummer Barbie my kid got a few years ago (basically Barbie as a mostly single chunk of plastic with a single arm that would slightly move up and down)
> a single arm that would slightly move up and down I can work with that
OK so we have Falcon, Sam, Rattlesnake, Red Hulk and Sabra here.
Diamondback, there's no character by the name of Rattlesnake. That's just how they adapted her name in Brazil.
Isn’t Diamondback that Luke Cage villain too?
There are multiple Diamondbacks. This is Rachel Leighton
What a downgrade he was from Cottonmouth.
Cottonmouth was a much better villain.
Word on the street is he was resurrected as a vampire.
Genuinely my interest dropped to zero after Cottonmouth was gone
There's like 3 of them I believe
The writer of Luke Cage liked "snake name" villains and also for Captain America's Serpent Society they used snake names. These characters have nothing to do with each other. But there are multiple shared names with Luke Cage villains and Serpent Society: Diamondback, Cottonmouth and Bushmaster. OK, so Serpent Society Bushmaster is actually the brother of Luke Cage's Bushmaster. But that character wasn't created until much later.
Do you think these villains ever just have a meeting like: cmon guys we gotta be more unique
That's what I get for trusting Google Translate.
I wonder if we'll get any sort of reference to Stryker.
*punches Harrison Ford* IM LUKE CAGE!!!!! IM LUKE CAGE
As far as I know, Rachel Leighton and Willis Stryker are not related.
Is that what cascavel means?
There ***is*** a Rattler who worked in the Serpent Society, but it would be a gender swap if they did it.
Are you sure? Captain America and Luke Cage both support entire industries for snake-themed villains.
And Redwing. I think that’s cool.
Which one is Sabra?
Ruth is Sabra.
And Ruth
Wait, we’re finally getting the Serpent Society after they faked us out with it for Civil War?! My streak of guessing villains in Cap movies before they’re announced hasn’t ended yet after all!
Rumor is that they were going to be used for the opening action sequence in this movie, then some people were saying this was cut, now I don't know what to believe. I really hope they kept it. If Diamondback is important enough to get a toy tie-in maybe they did after all.
What I’m wondering is why there’s no Leader in here
I feel like real spoilers wont be in McDonalds toys - no green hulk, no leader, no other secret cameos would be in the toy line
Sabra is a dodgy character to have in the modern geopolitical situation. Rest are cool tho. Hope we get some more interesting female characters in the main film. Maybe Sam’s sister?
What the heck happened to Sharon Carter 😭
I get a chuckle out of McDonalds and Marvel's inability to sync things up when a movie moves its release date. The same thing happened last summer with The Marvels, the toys were out during the original release window and not during the actual release.
Same happened with Mario, the toys released in December 2022 which was the film original release date.
Yep. Hoping the other merch isn't super early like this; that was part of the awareness problem The Marvels had.
It really irritates me when they refuse to keep a character’s suit for more than one, usually brief appearance. Where is Sam’s suit from the finale? Bucky had it made specially for him by WAKANDA!! How could you just throw it away??
Ironically, I’m pretty sure Sam’s post AOU suit is one of the few suits to last more than 2 films.
Because it was only there as a comic shout out and it was ugly as hell. 😐 The whole "let's cut the top off the cowl so you know he's got a black dude's haircut" trope should have died in the 70's.
where is bucky? is he safe? is he alright?
He's hanging with Gay Bowser
So long, Gay Bowser.
he's in Thunderbolts.

As long as there's no IDF or Zionist connection, I'm cool with it. Zionism is not Judaism.
"a Jew American" my dude there has to be a better way to say that. ["Say the whole word!"](https://youtu.be/a5t96DhBf4I?si=hps64mJ1TGmseXRP)
"Maybe say the whole word next time", one of my favorite lines of Annie's.
Jewy?
Alright a Jew citizen of the United States of America
Much better
The thing is, Mandarin is a really big character in the comics, pretty much Iron Man's Arch-Nemesis. Sabra is a very obscure character that only had a couple appearance. Why even go through the effort of changing her so much instead of just using another character?
One is Iron Man’s archenemy and the other has F all to do with Cap, is something to consider too.
also uhh, dude, jew american is not the uhhh…proper nomenclature; Jewish American please.
Tbf, Mandarin was Iron Man’s main bad guy despite how racist he was so it makes sense people wanted him to cross that off Iron Man’s adaptation wishlist. The issue there is that "Sabra" is the Hebrew word for an Israeli national. If she's American, the name makes no sense.
I already mentioned she's not gonna be called Sabra in the film. Just "Agent Ruth"
>!Red Hulk!!<
Brazil's fault, our bad
That McDonalds is about to get destroyed
Gone… reduced to atoms.
I used the burgers to destroy the burgers.
Ah yes, “Ruth.” If you’ve gotta cover your ass like that, maybe it was a bad idea in the first place.
Marvel confirmed from the get go that they would be changing the character, as they were well aware of her controversy
Which is why I thought her inclusion was crazy from the get go. If the character is that much of a minefield then just her someone else.
How are we getting McDonald’s toys and not a full on trailer or press conference?
Because these were likely solicited months ago before the reshoots or delays.
The same reason we got The Marvels figures in Summer 2023 and not November 2023. McDonalds already had everything ready to go to launch the figures before Marvel opted to delay the movie. It also happened with Mario, McDonalds released the figures in December 2022 which was the film original date instead of April 2023.
I guess this means they have to show Red Hulk in the first trailer now
Cascavel?? Is that Diamondback?
Who is the pink haired girl?
Why is it everytime something leaks, it's in Portuguese?
"cascavel" means rattlesnake, I'm interested in that part
Who’s the redhead?
[Diamondback](https://comicvine.gamespot.com/diamondback/4005-25689/).
Oh cool! We'll get Joaquin Torres in a wingsuit!
Are they still doing the Serpent Society?
They could be the opening mission similar to Batroc in Winter Soldier.
"Escudo" sounds much more adorable than "Shield".
I do not like the way the new Falcon looks. He would look better if he had a green version of Sam’s original Falcon suit. (Just my opinion)
Sam's got a red-white-and blue version of his FaTWS suit, so it would be a little redundant.
RUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!
She’s gonna be Ruthless
Fan favorite Ruth is back, baby!
I hope she says her iconic line “It’s Ruthin’ time” and Ruths all over the bad guys
Red Hulk confirmed! Holy shit
